I recently purchase my Gypsy early this month, I was so excited to start using it. When I first turn it on everything was fine, I was even able to sync some of my cartridges. Disaster came when I downloaded the sync software to my computer and was updating my Cricut. The update completed but my screen kept saying "loading." I was not able to turn off my gypsy so I just let the battery die. I tried to reset using the back hole and I even tried the "3 button" reset but nothing has work. I've called the Cricut support but I can't even get through to speak to someone...I'm very frustrated because I just bought the gypsy and already loaded some of my cartridge...

Try Syncing it again. Sometimes there is a glitch.

I don't know what to tell you but have you posted on Gypsy chat? There are some awesome helpful people there who can probably help you. Good luck.

Try the troubleshoooter in Cricut Sync. You do not use Gypsy Sync anymore for updating the Gypsy. The updates are passed through Cricut Sync at this time. Click on Help and answer the questions in the Troubleshooter. Your G needs to be plugged in to the AC adapter during the process. It will not work if it is not plugged in. You also need to allow the troubleshoooter to run. Mine took about 45 minutes. Make sure your computer does not "go to sleep" in the process.
Depending on what the troubleshooter does, you may have to re link those cartridges- not a big deal.
I would try answering YES to all questions first. This process usually does not cause the G to be reformatted just fixed.
