My cutting mat is so sticky that I cannot get the design off once it has been cut. Anyone know how to correct this problem??

You need to "condition" your mat. You can do this by patting your hands all over the surface of the mat or pressing a t-shirt into it to take some of the sticky away. As you use it, it will become less sticky and work great
Check out this video that explains it really well

I was going to mention the same tip about conditioning the mats. There are lots of great tips to using your machine, mat care etc. on Youtube.com

Yes, patting my hands over it really worked. I had trouble with my previous mat, where several of my cuts would stay on the mat and ruin the cut. This definitely makes a difference!
