Well if that isn't just stupid! Glare

I just got off the phone with CS and they said they will send an email to tech support and get back with me.

Did this ever get resolved. Can you link the pre-installed cartridges yet?

You can't link the pre-installed carts but you can cut with them using CCR. If you're cutting with the E2 you don't need to link the carts as CCR will recognise that they are installed on the E2.

I'm not sure if PC are planning on making them able to be linked or to be able to be used on any Cricut other than the E2.

Oh, bother... I saw the 'Link' buttons last night for preloaded cartridges & got all excited, but then I had the same problem. It would cut, but not link. Seems silly to add the buttons if it won't work... *sigh* Well, I guess I can take that phone call off my list.

Since when can you cut with them? I tried about a month ago and I was prompted to "buy" before I could cut. No way! Maybe I need to try again and see if it will work now.

I've been cutting with the pre-installed carts through CCR for about a month now I think. You will only be able to cut with them on the E2 though.
