I recently got my design studio working and wanted to use some downloaded cut files. However when I go to my craft room and try to import I go to where they are saved nothing comes up. I have the cricut expression, does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

You can only import DS files into CCR if they have been saved as a Gypsy file and opened on a Gypsy.

If you don't have a Gypsy you could email them to someone who does. They could convert the file for you and send it on back.

If there's just a few you would like converted I'd be happy to do that for you.

Great!

Before you start linking your cartridges to your Gypsy.... STOP!

If you're going to link your cartridges - link them through CCR. Then they'll be also linked to your Gypsy once you update it through Cricut Sync.

If you link them to your Gypsy first - you won't be able to link them to CCR until PC has released the update for that feature.

As your Gypsy is brand new you'll have quite a few updates to do. (From memory it doesn't do them all at the same time.)

Make sure you have your Gypsy fully charged before you start the Gypsy Sync and leave it plugged into the power while you're updating.

If you don't have an Imagine - uncheck the option for the Imagine updates.

Here's the link to Cricut Sync if you haven't already found it. You'll need that to update the Gypsy. http://www.cricut.com/cricutsync/

Your Gypsy documentation may mention Gypsy Sync. Ignore that because it has been replaced with Cricut Sync.

When you have your Gypsy updated and are ready to start converting your DS files this info might be of some help: http://cricutcraftroomblog.blog...dio-and-gypsy-files.html

Good luck!!
