I want to cut out 16 copies of a name, say Mary's. How do you do the apostrophe? I have quotation marks, exclamation points etc, but no apostrophe. The cart I am using is Lyrical Letters.

Also, is it possible to cut the name in columns so I don't have to deal with them getting cut off and continuing on the next row?

Thanks so much!!

Is there a comma? If not, I would just use the quote marks, one at a time. I do not have that cart, so do not know what they look like though. As far as the columns, what machine are you using? I have an E2, and just use the space or return buttons to move my images wherever I want them on my mat. Depending on the size of the image, it usually takes 2 returns to put one image directly below the other in a column form. HTH.

I'm making vinyl decals so commas and quotations marks won't work like with cutting out paper. It HAS to be cut exactly as I want it then transferred to the transfer tape.

Thanks for the column assistance - I will try the return button....

Are you using a design program {CCR, DS, Gypsy}, if so, you can hide one of the quotation marks.

I have not explored Craft Room yet - guess I should hook my laptop up and see what happens. I'm nervous though!

Any other suggestions?

If you're cutting just with your Cricut, leave a space where you want the apostrophe. Cut them out and add them to the spot and then use transfer tape to move your entire word.
