Could you help me with resources?
I have about 25 cards I made to give to a friend who is collecting Christmas cards from home to send to the troops. She would like us to put a sentiment + note to any soldier. Then she has a contact in the service she ships to. He/she distributes the cards to different platoons.

I am so grateful for what these men and women do but I don't have the words to express how I feel.Sad
Can you help?

Thanks,
Betty aka ZacksNana

Betty last year I used very simple sentiments. From what I can remember I wrote something like this: Thank you for your service to our country. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Also noted on the package what 'type' cards were included. A few of mine were generic in the holiday theme as was the sentiment. I used Happy Holidays in place of MC and HNY. I am sure any sentiment and personal note you include will be most apprecicated.

Betty, I agree with Deb. Maybe add some prayers and hugs.

I included a little note in one of my packages
to the troops and basically I just thanked
them for all they are doing and I told them
that they are in my thoughts and prayers.
I do pray daily for anyone who gets my cards.

I have a Christmas stamp that says;
"May the meaning of the season be deeper, its friendships stronger, and its hopes brighter."
I think it's a very nice sentiment. :)

Here's one I'm using this time.

On the card front: Close isn't always measured in distance

Inside: I may be many miles away, but the bond of love, formed long ago, always keeps you close at heart. Merry Christmas
