I am having problems updating my New Gypsy. I have the Gypsy connected to the compmputer, have downloaded Cricut Sync. The update process says it has completed and then the process starts all over again...this process has taken hours and is getting very frustrating...is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be GREAT...Thank you

It does take several times to get a new gypsy updated. Is it actually completing or are you stopping it? When it completes the next time click the wrench on the welcome screen and tell us the numbers in ( ) below the version number

The version is 1.4 (0206:0001) I have done several updates and it has not updated the version....I haver added the Cricut Sync to my antivirus program as always allowed...I am running Windows XP and all updates have been installed...not sure what to do and am VERY frustrated.

You're not up to date because you need those numbers to be 206:209.

Does it actually go thru the update and tell you it's complete or does it stop at 100%? Have you tried exiting your virus software? Which virus software do you have?

Thank you for all your help...I downloaded the Cricut Sync to a different computer and connected the Gypsy and was able to get it to update....not sure if the program had problems downloading or if I have a problem with my computer.
