I used my Christmas money to purchase the Ikea Expedit shelving for my craft room! I can't tell you now nice it is to be organized. More details and pics are on my blog: http://www.craftingwithk...craft-room-makeover.html

Oh, how nice. Are the bins also from Ikea? I wish I could be half that organized. Maybe I should make that my New Year's resolution.

The khaki colored bins are actually from Target (Itso Fabric Bins). Can you believe how perfectly they fit? The rest of the storage is from Ikea.

Katie,
Thanks for the enable!!! I am planning to go to the Dallas Swarm in March, and Tammy from Creative Critterz says there is an IKEA right next door ... I may need to leave room when packing to bring one of these home with me! It looks terrific ... Now, How do I justify spending that kind of money, and ... where do I put it? Do I move my crafting to another room? Which room? Where? Decisions, decisions ...

TFS!

Very nice! You did a great job organizing! I've been looking at the Expedit for a long time but would probably need one of the smaller versions.

I have been wanting the expedit for months, 4 more weeks & I will be in a city where there is an Ikea. Woo hoo! Went on their website last night & they just dropped the price of the shelves. Now I can use my saved money to buy accessories. Thanks for posting a pic, I love looking for ideas

love it! I have the same exact shelf, and since I don't have my own scrap room it fits perfectly in my dining area. I got mine on craigslist, I believe I only paid $80. Awesome deal :)

Nice job! We have Expedit units in other rooms of our house, but I hesitated to get one for scrapbooking because I couldn't find any inexpensive drawers that fit well. Wish I'd known about those from Target!

I absolutely LOVE IKEA! I got my crafting table there (only $20) and storage for my 12X12 paper (only $5). I think it was supposed to be a sweater holder, but the paper fit in it perfectly!! I hung it in my closet so it's out of the way. I also got a shelf there that fits perfectly in the nook in my office/SBroom/guest room. I wish we had an IKEA here.. Atlanta is the closest one to me!!

I'll try to post pics of my SBroom as soon as I can get it nice and neat.
