Thought I'd share the autograph books I made for our Disney Vacation this past summer. I don't like having pics of my girls online, so that's why I have them covered. :) This was before the Toy Story cartridge came out and then I have some Universal Studio pics in it. I wanted room for the characters to sign and then a place to put a picture so when we got home I could quickly get pictures put in for the girls to be able to show to their friends. I have a Disney Scrapbook I'll get finished eventually. :)

This is awesome! Great Job! Did you just have the characters sign random sheets of paper and then use them in it? That is what I would like to do, just in case we don't get to see all of the characters on our cruise.

What kind of book did you use and where did you get it?

Thanks for sharing this!!Laugh

Thank you. :) I made the book. I have a bind it all that I used to bind it together. I had it all together done and had extra pages in case we ran into characters I didn't have. I've seen where people have had the characters sign cardstock (that's what I used) and then make the book when they get back home. You could have your pages done and put them on a 3 ring so if there's some you don't see, you could pull those pages out for another time type thing. This trip will be my first time doing a scrapbook album so I've seen people that scrapbook a lot put the signatures as part of a layout.

For more idea's, go to google images and do a search on Disney Autograph book or Cricut disney autograph book.
HTH :)

Thank you. :) The characters did have fun with them pointing out pages to the picture helpers or looking for another character in the book etc. Definitely got lots of comments.

Hi. Thank you. Directions.. I decided on the size I wanted to do first. I'd have to measure but I think it's close to about 5"x7". I cut a bunch of different papers that size that were Disney themed and solid colors. I then cut a bunch of various solid colors of paper a smaller size for their autographs. Then I just started making all the various characters off of the disney cartridges. I sort of grouped them together, i.e. Beauty and the Beast together. Most the characters I did at 4". Once I did that then I started matching up color combinations that seemed to go together. I.e. Red, Black & White for Mickey Mouse. Yellow for Snow White and so on. I have a bind it all that I used to bind it together. I did spray seal the front and back cover to make them more water proof. I also glued (ATG) the pages together so they'd be thicker. So the two backsides of two different characters pages together if that makes sense. I happened to have extra pages that I'm glad I put in because there are characters you run into that don't have images etc. I think it worked out well because as soon as we got home I had pictures printed up and was able to put those right into their albums. I'm still working on the family Disney album! (my first scrapbook album to be done) I need to get back to it and finish it up. It's close. :)

These are brilliant must have took you ages to produce these!
I'm new to cricut and trying to work with them disney images are quite hard i find as they have alot of small pieces to cut out (which tend to keep snagging on my blade!!!) hopefully i'll get the hang of it soon.

Hi. Thank you! :) The thing with the Disney images is usually not to cut them too small in my opinion. Otherwise the pieces are just itty bitty. If it's snagging on the blade, try slowing the speed down to 1 or 2. If it's still snagging, then could be too much pressure or something caught on the blade or possibly a dull blade. I rarely use the eyes and use a white gel pen and a black pen for ones that are just those two colors.

Hope that helps ya some.

For the characters? Mainly just smooth Bazzill (only because I got it pretty cheap once on HSN :) ) and some of the ColorBok from Walmart.
