I know they don't make these anymore but I just saw the 12x12 ones and think they are a good idea. Do you know where I could find some? eBay is a bust.....

Did you ever have these? Did you like them? Use them? Hated them?have some to sell?

I had/have some and then there was another design system that had a book and plastic templates and I cannot find mine.

I had even bought a PDF from someone on Ebay that had a listing of all the shapes and the dimensions at one point.

A great layout book that I just started using is by Scrapbooking Generation. They have several and it gives all the cut sizes to go with the layouts.

Good Luck. Creative Memories have a page template system, so maybe check them out.

I have 10 of the 12x12. Yes I have used these and I did like them. Made several pages. I will be glad to sell them. I would have no idea what they are worth though.

I used to use the block templates until I discovered a different product. Check out this website... http://www.snapncrop.com/

She has many ideas of how to do your blocking. She also has a book that is very good teaching you to do blocking and mosaics and how to measure them out. I started using her technique and found it to be much easier than the templates and allows me more versatility.

I used to like mine, but haven't used them in a long time.

If you could find the layouts with the dimensions listed, you could layout and cut your own cover templates on cricut with your gypsy or ccr and instead of cutting the pictures, have an overlay and tuck everything behind. Now that would make life really easy. If you wanted a bigger section, you could always clip off some dividers.

I think I had a book with all of them listed... if I find it, I can copy the relevant pages for you. I'll write myself a note to look for it, but I'm up to my elbows in the elementary school yearbook and have no time for anything else (that's what you get for procrastinating!)

I bought her stuff at scrapbook expo 2 or 3 years ago. I love her layouts and I did a few mosaics.

I have the color block idea book and I think I still have some of the templates. I'll have to check and let you know.

I have several of the templets & love them when I want to place a lot of pictures on a lay-out. I don't always use them exactly the way they are laid out- I may combine 2 blocks to make 'one' picture, etc. But it helps me with my cropping, journaling, & embellishment placement. Like someone else said- if you can't find anyone willing to part with theirs (I know I couldn't- LOL) maybe you could make your own. I could send you the 'cut-out' dimensions for the ones I have & you could design your own templete on a G or CCR & cut them out. PM me if you would like to do that. Smile

I have always loved these templates. They help make the layouts look so nice and clean. I have 19 different 12x12 ones, print outs of all the 8x11 ones, two-8x8 sizes, three- 5x7's, two-6x6's, two-4.25x5.5's, two 5x5's.

I have 3 doubles of the 12x12 sizes but they aren't the ones you listed as you wanting.

You could make your own in CCR {or DS or Gypsy}. With CCR, you just need to make sure your "blocks" are inside the cutting area on the mat.

I did just that with the free cuts of the 50 states on CCR.
Made my own template that is...
I used the Michigan map and placed it on the bottom right side of the CCR matte leaving about a 1/2" border all the way around. I put the name MICHIGAN at the top, merged letters together and then layed out a couple 4.25 X 6.25 mattes and cut them all out.

I love it. I have played around with it several times making my own templates and just did one for my friend of California and her sons college name.
It is really easy.

I would include a screen shot of my project but I can't seem to get it to paste to this reply.
I have just recently located my templates and may use them again but in the meantime, I love using CCR to make my own templates and/or overlays. BigGrin BigGrin

I'll try to take a picture and load to the board. Maybe someone out there can give me the insight on how to paste a screen shot...I can attach it to an email and I use screen shots at work all the time so not sure why it won't work.
I'll see what I can figure out.
If necessary maybe I can email it to you.

Can someone share a pic, I've never heard of this and it sounds interesting. I checked online but I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right thing.

Here's a photo of some I have. They came in different sizes as you can see. There was also 8.5x11's but I never got them. The ones on the right side are for cards (5x7 and 4.5x5) and 8x8 layouts (or cards), there are also 6x6 sizes. The ones for the cards and smaller layouts are really flimsy plastic and hard to work with.
