Try your cut again, but this time make sure you press the Load Mat button on the E2 before you press Cut on the Gypsy. (Don't use the Load mat button on the Gypsy.)

This is a problem that arose in the latest E2 update and has been reported.

Chris, It is now a year since you posted that link. Today I tried it, and got a message saying that can not be found. Is there a way to access this or is it gone for good?

ThumpUp Tip of the Day!!

There is a new update for Cricut Sync. With the new update for C Sync, it deletes the Mini and E2 drivers and once you connect the E2, C Sync adds the new drivers to the E2. At this writing, C Sync update does not add to the firmware or content as it is supposed to make CCR and the E2 talk to one another better and for the E2 and C Sync to talk better as well.

If your E2 is stuck on the Logo Screen, follow the below information:

With the power off press the magnifying glass the pause key and power button

You will then see a rainbow test pattern screen the machine will cycle the roller bars and then the blue calibration screen will come on with the cross hair in the upper left hand corner.

Chase the cross hairs and then it should go to the mat screen

Awesome, now it's stuck on the rainbow screen!Confused

Much has changed at the Cricut website since this thread was started two years ago. Click on the "Using your Cricut" box at the top of this screen, then select Expression 2 from the left of screen and you'll find the videos there.
