hi can anyone help ????
have a cricut create for about 1year not used it in months .loaded up craft room.now all i have is green on/off button lit.??????will not even load paper.

Sorry, just saw this Yvonne.

You will be able to get your Create back to working order by downloading the trial version of Cricut Design Studio. Once that's installed you can backdate the firmware from the Help menu. Here's the link to the trial version: http://www.cricut.com/cds/Update.aspx

Just do the first download on that page (the Program update) and install it. Once you open it click the "Continue in Trial mode" button.

Once it's backdated you'll still be able to use it with CCR.

@Narelle, Once we download that program, open it and select trial mode, what are the steps for backdating? Thank you for your help.

Go to the Help menu and select Update Cricut Firmware.

Make sure your Cricut is connected to your computer but turned off.

From the DS screen select the Cricut you want to update then follow the instructions on how to put your cricut into firmware mode.

You may be prompted to do the update twice. If you are make sure you turn your Cricut off again before you start the second update.
