I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. When I connect my mac to my cricut expression2, there doesn't seem to be any communication between the two. I can't even figure out how or where I am suppose to up load my cartridges. HELP

You can't upload your cartridges, but you can link them. You need to be in the craft room to do it. I haven't personally linked any of mine to CCR, so I can't help you with the actual linking part. Sorry!

When you are in CCR, choose the cartridge that you want to link. Once you get ready to cut with that particular cartridge, it will promp you to link or not. When you choose yes & complete your cut, it will be linked. If you have a Gypsy that you want the cart linked to, then you just go & Sync it & your cart will be linked to the Gypsy too.

Hope that helps!

You can link your carts to CCR by selecting the cart from the list, clicking the LINK button under the images and following the instructions that will come up on the screen {basically insert the cart, it is detected, agree to the TOU and it's linked}.

Linking is great.... makes using CCR easier... but you don't have to link if you don't want to in order to cut. Just thought I'd mention that option! Once the cartridges linked they can't be unlinked.

Mine won't link. I get the response that the cartridge was successfully detected - then nothing. The only option I have is to cancel. So frustrating.

I've had trouble linking cartridges too. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. I do not have a Gypsy but was kind of thinking of getting one. If I have a cart linked in CCR already, will I be able to load it into my gypsy? Can you load an exported CCR file from CCR to your gypsy? Just thinking the gypsy could be easier than lugging laptop around...

Hello Jane-

In order to link your Imagine cartridges to CCR you will need to connect your imagine machine or an Expression 2 to CCR. Select your cartridges under all cartridges and click the link button. I hope this helps you out. :)

Hello,
Can you please tell me what program you are trying to link your cartridge to?

Hello,

Cricut is no longer manufacturing the gypsy machine. However, if you do find a Gypsy available to purchase, you can check out this link to the most frequently asked questions. http://us.cricut.com/home/support/cricut-sync/
