& i love it!!!

I already had the original but i loved the idea of purchasing the digital cartriges straight away without having to wait for the cartridge to get here in the post. The larger cutting mat & it was all i could afford at the time, it was a rush buy but i wanted it, i can always upgrade at a later date.

It was a hard desision beteewn the cricut mini & the sillouette cameo!!!

Although i now know il still be getting the cameo for christmas my husband is a ice hocky player & want's me to customise his shirt's, so im not sure if its more a machine fr me or him, lol

im still he biggest fan of cricut

Good for you! I've been thinking about one too. But now I'm torn between the mini and an Expression. And I love Cricut Craft Room!! My only worry would be the stability of CCR and the future of Provo Craft.

i LOVE the craft room & ive been playing in there since owning my cricut original & i did link it up to my computer a few times but the mini is just so much easier, with one less wire, lol

I did get the impression from a few you tube video's & the teresa collins slot on "my craft channel" that you could just cut anything from the craft room using the mini, but thats not the case, you do need the cartridge, or digital, it's very mis leading! Although i found that out before i purchased my mini & i still wanted it & bought it.

I think that the size cutting cablabilities of the mini rival the cameo. It cuts really small images and does so perfectly, and the price is right.

However, not being able to cut without software is a real drawback. I don't use CCR because of having to turn off the firewall and antivirus. I cut with the gypsy.

When the gypsy breaks, I guess I'll have to move on to a cameo.
