Wow! So many of you are well on your way already.

Gisele: Gorgeous cards. I admire your use of vintage papers. I love the look but for the strangest reason can't seem to work with them myself. I think it is a mental block; have to work on that some day.

Dee: tons of colors to choose from! I printed out the two posts and will need to mull this one over tonight while the kiddies are asleep. See what I can sketch up then get to work tomorrow.

Raquel: Ouch! Sorry to hear about the twisted knee. I just got out of a walking cast after breaking a bone in my foot. Then my knee started acting up cuz I was walking funny to compensate for the cast. Take care of yourself! I feel for ya girl.

britishgirl: Wow! It never occured to me to print images from Google when card making. Brilliant! It was a great scene and a clever combo of tag/card.

Sandy: ohhh, what a sweet little reindeer snow globe. Very cute.

Well, I can see I have some work to do so I will be off to do my planning. Catch back up with you girls soon!

Here is my card for your sketch #1.
It is a 6x6 card blank. I have used a couple of scraps at the bottom then the octagonal paper is a new one so I picked out some of the colours in it to do the little girl which is a Sarah Kay stamp. I needed to girlie it up a bit so I added the bow and button along with the butterfly. Blushing Blushing sorry no Cricut on this.

Turtlebug – Love your tag –such a pretty circle with the Artiste cartridge! I’ve had trouble using the zyron with some of the glue residue…how do you take care of that?

Jill4jewels –As for vintage, I keep experimenting and Graphic 45 and Simple Stories papers make it so easy to coordinate!

Jjolynmill – welcome to our group and glad you joined in! Great celebration card in primary colours! Hope to see more of your creations!

Sue – love your birthday card – such a great stamped image! Papers work well together too! Lovely butterfly too!

BingoLady - Really great sketch #1 – nice poinsettia accents with the Santa! Lovely rounded corners that go well with the red scalloped rectangle that you embossed!

Sandy – Love your interpretation of sketch #2 – great little caroller! Nice papers and bow!

Gisele,
I also end up with glue residue on the cut. I usually will take my Cricut pointy tool and turn the residue back over to the glued side, especially the letters that have the negative openings, cause if I glue it down first it gets harder and more messy trying to get it off. If you don't have the Cricut pointy tool you can always just use a needle or straight pin....hope this helps!

Joyful Carol: that is one cute tag! Love the bird playing baseball... how perfect for the little boy

TurtleBug: that's a great Christmas tag... the cuts you chose are so pretty. My Cricut won't let me cut sentiments that small without damaging it... yours turned out really neat

jjolynmill: Welcome! Your card is so pretty... love love the paper you use and all the sparkles on those flowers

AcrossThePond:
cute cute mostly pink card... love the combination of all the different printed papers. Wonderful job on coloring the image

BingoLady:
cute Christmas card... love that lightbulb paper

SandyPalmer: cute Christmas card... you're making me super jealous with all the coloring you've been doing lately. I haven't lifted a Copic marker in ages

Ok... here's my sketch 2. I decided to use an odd shape instead of the circle for the middle under the sentiment. It's from Wild Card and I really liked it. I also had a string going around the whole card but I didn't like the way it looked

Cartridge used: Fabulous Finds, Simply Sweet, and Wild Card

This is also for my Ad colors... all 5 colors are actually in the background car paper but in a darker shade

You can also use an eraser or your ginger and rub all over the cut while it is still on the white backing when it comes out of the Xyron. Or do the same after you stick it on the project, the adhesive really rolls up and come off easily. Your finger works great. HTH

Here is my extra credit tag. I do love making these and wish I could do more.
I used PS for the cut also in shadow, I CB the cream first and then used Cranberry, Walnut Stain and gold ink from Ranger, a woodware and Verve stamp also a couple of rubbernecker stamps and a few other bits. The tag is 5x3. Thanks for looking.

My Sketch #1 Card in the Ad Colors:
Birdie Paper - I cut a corner off of a full sheet from the Recollections "All Seasons" stack.
Sentiment - CTMH acrylic stamp from the "Life is Tweet" set
Embossing - Cuttlebug "Birds & Swirls" folder
Added silver glitter to the flower petal tips, heart shaped pearls, grosgrain blue ribbon and a green gem to the Birdie's eye.
Sorry, no Cricut!

Hi everyone...Great cards this week... I have some cards to post but they do not follow the challenge this week so hope it is ok to post them her... hey when the granddaughter wants cards... Grandma gets busy and makes them for her... BigGrin Her request was a boy turkey and a girl turkey with nothing else on the front of the card... so what do you all think... will she be happy with these? With the girl turkey at first I just put the bow on her little head but there was something missing... ah ha... a HAT...

Cartridge: Create A Critter for the turkeys...
Paper Doll Dress Up for the lady's hat.
