What if it is homemade but inside the turkey?! That is what we had today! Now you are all getting me confused! LOL

We are shopping online for a couple of things already. I bought 'Water for Elephants' DVD for $1.96 shipped on Amazon, then DH just bought a metal detector for us to play with.

Anyone else shopping yet for Black Friday deals, or will you be going to the stores in the wee hours to shop?!

Ok I will try again...

Thanksgiving at my sister in laws house was very nice my sil son decided to give his mom a break and he did all the cooking. I think he thought he was having 20 people over because he cooked so much food it was crazy 10 pds of mashed potatos, 6 pds. of candie yams, string beans, corn, mashed turnups and on and on....Everything was delicious he is a great cook

My sil made all the pies... Pumpkin Pie, Sweet potato Pie and a Hugh Cheescake she makes her own buttery pie crust and it was very good..

My Italian Anti Pasta salad was a big hit we brought italian bread so it was a nice start to a great meal

I have to say I miss having the leftovers... Usually on Thanksgiving night I would always take the neck out and nibble on that at night. So I think I will be making a turkey in the next couple of weeks. DH wants turkey leftovers.

Sharon I saw your Imagine on Ebay I hope you get a decent amount for it...

Happy Black Friday shopping everyoneBigGrin

Yeah I hope I get a decent amount for my Imagine. I have a feeling I will lose money on it. It cost me $199 with 3 cartridges & I am selling it with 13 cartridges. Oh well. It doesn't get used by me, so would prefer it goes to someone who can get some use out of it!

I shopped & shopped some more in the wee hours today! Went to Kohls, Gymboree & Five Below & got tons of good sales! I had so much fun, even though I am very tired now! LOL I managed to get only about 3 hrs sleep if that! I will take a nap later probably or go to bed early!

Today I am going to relax this morning, then we plan to hit CVS (for padded envelopes) & Bed, Bath & Beyond (for a soda stream). I may even go to the casino for a little bit later. Depends on how tired I am!

I had a long post yesterday and got an error message in the middle of it. Gave up!

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We're having leftovers for a couple of days, though I grow very, very tired of them quickly. I have a dish of leftover pasta in the fridge, that my be my lunch instead.

Inlaws are here until Sunday.

Hope I can squeeze in some creative time, I haven't crafted in a long time.

Hello- Happy Belated Thanksgiving. It just didn't seem like Thanksgiving here, it's not a holiday we celebrate. We had pizza. We do celebrate in our house, it's just that Jamal is leaving for the States on Sat and we'll have our turkey and all the fixens when he come back. I was supposed to make turkey for his entire family (about 50 people) today, but his nephew was having his engagement party tonight. So we went to that. It was beautiful, very loud though. Not sure why they have to have the music so loud, maybe I'm getting old. I put the headphones on Layla so it wouldn't dmage her hearing. they must have worked because she fell asleep. The great part about these parties is I get to go to the salon and get my hair and makeup done. I took Alya with me, she was so cute. The lady put glitter in my hair, and she asked if she coiuld have glitter too. Iwas really cute.

So I did lots of online shopping this past week, I'm hoping it all get to Jamal by the time he comes back.

Better go, I'm sleepy.

Enjoy all the left overs.

Hi.

I think I am shopped out.

20 people at dinner yesterday! Most every. Went great. EVERYONE from my family was here except for my brothers finace'. We got a family picture, and I will photoshop the finace' in.

Then, Jordan and Kate went to WalMart a6 8 p.m. for video games. DH, me, Megan, and Jill went at 10 p.m. Got me a TV for my craft room, a blu-ray for Megan, a blu-ray for a friend who wanted us to pick one up for him, and the girls got some movies.

Up early this morning to Costco. DH got a new computer. He needed one. His is vintage. Plus, four packs of pillows (2 per pack), 2 bags of dog food for Jeffie, and some other stuff. The car was PACKED. And we still came back to Home Depot and WalMart. Jill had fun shopping with us. The stuff she got she will wait to take home till after Christmas.

I think it is time for a nap.

(DH moved the chair I keep a back massager on over to Megan's for dinner, and now my massager won't work. So sad.)

Well definitely too tired for the casino, plus Elise wanted me to stay home, so that made the choice extra easy!

We did go to CVS, Lowes & then Shoprite quick this afternoon. Now I am definitely all shopped out.

I don't mind leftover turkey too much. We actually didn't have a lot leftover though this year & Emily has been chomping it down & loving it. So only enough for maybe 3 or 4 more sandwiches left!

I am going to be sooo glad when I hit my bed tonight! LOL

Got half of my shopping done but I am still exhausted. I have been so busy with thanksgiving and shopping and my friend has been visiting from SC for the week so I have been spending a lot of time with her.

I did shop for myself.BigGrin BigGrin I got some jet max cubes and some cartridges and also needed a new printer because mine broke. Hope you all found some good deals.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Ok, I am very jealous of all the bargains you ladies have got on the sales LOL Love BigGrin I did not even look at the online stores.

Nancy, you will have to cook a turkey for christmas and then you can have the leftovers. Our plans for christmas are a bit up in the air now due to some unforeseen developments, so not sure quite what we will be doing, will probably have to celebrate twice!

It is DS's birthday today, finally managed to chat to him as he is still away and the phone reception where he is is very unreliable. He has had a great camping trip but I think is looking forward to being home tomorrow.

We have had a lot of thunder which really upset Jet and I was hoping for a good downpour but we only got a few drops! Now it is humid Mad

I think the other side of the family (Husband's side are Polish) wants Italian food this is the only place they get the real thing LOL

I decided New years Day turkey dinner with all the fixings...

We always use to celabrate NY Day because it was my Dad's Birthday (even after he passed in 2001) we still celebrated his B-Day. Now since my mom is gone i stopped and my DD was upset.

So I said I will do NY Day so that will be our Turkey day

Ok so my son in law went out at 1 am in the morning he hit K-Mart, Target and then Walmart and he got a 50" LED Flat Screen TV and I also asked him to get my DD Patty a Tablet she has been wanting for some time now.

So he called yesterday and thanked me for the Christmas presents. I am just glad I didn't have to go out for those bargains. He did my Christmas shopping for me. At least he got what he wanted and I will surprise Patty with her gift.

I shopped for Alex on line he gave me a list and I bought him what he wanted.

Now I have Hannah to buy for hopefully during the week we can get that done

My DH I bought a new Cell phone and I think because his birthday is the 22nd. of Dec. I will buy him a new BBQ. I want a really nice one for him.

Then I am done

I am going out this morning looking for a Christmas dress for Abigail My DD doesn't care what color not me I want her in red and white so I am on the hunt.

I also need to go to Dress Barn I need a top for next weeks Christmas Party (The GRR Club) so early this year.

Happy Crafting everyone

Good Morning.

Nancy, I'll bet it feels good to have most of your shopping out of the way. Good luck on finding Abigail's dress.

Debbie, one of the places Kate works got struck by lightening on Wednesday, just as she was walking in the door of the office. They finally sent everyone home! No fire really, just a power outage, and their server was down.

Up WAY too early again this morning, to take Jill to the airport. The visit was short, but it was wonderful to have her here. She left Jeffie with many tears in her eyes. She is going to miss that dog the next month. But we will take good care of him for her.

DH caught a cold, so after we got home from the airport, I took a nice hot bath, and he went back to bed.

DH is now trying to learn Windows 8. I think there is going to be a learning curve there!

Today, I hope, is the day to take down Thanksgiving and put up Christmas. Just didn't have time yesterday.

I slept sooo long last night. I guess because I only got barely 3hrs sleep the night before! I crashed by 5.30pm & didn't wake up until 8.15am! Yep, I really did sleep!

Today I think we are going to relax at home, but that may change!

We were going to go to a Victorian Christmas in PA (about 2hr drive away). But I woke up with a cold & Emily has a sore throat, so hubby said we will stay home. I am really fine though, so we may still go. Who knows. lol

We may even buy a Christmas tree this weekend! That would be fun!

Weird, in the middle of typing I got a screen pop up that said...

"There has been a serious error loading the forum. No further information is available.

Please contact the administrator if this message persists."

Never had that happen before! But I clicked the back button & was back to my half typed message, so all was fine.

Okay, just happened again!

Sharon maybe you should relax hope you do't get sick...
Joy... it was a short visit but I am sure you all caught up.. Now you have 2 pups to take care of..

I left at 9:15am and got back at 4pm... I am done I found a cute dress for Abigail White with little red and silver tiny bows on it with a long sleeve thin red jacket to cute..

Then i went to Dress Barn haven't been there in ages and bought a drssy top for the Christmas party next week and it was buy 1 and get the 2nd top 50% off so I got a purple sweater..

Then went food shopping I thought Turkey's would be on Sale well they jacked up the price they were $2.00 a pound!!!!!!! Holy smokes...I thought I would buy one now before the prices go up for Christmas boy was I wrong.. especially since my sister in law got her turnkey for .49 cents a pound. That is a big difference

Then headed to Costco needed to get my glasses adjusted and no turkey's there at all... place was packed so out I came then we went to have a late lunch early dinner... so no cooking tonight..

Sandra... DH is still waiting to hear from the Insurance co. if they are going to give him a sleep machine I know he will have to pay out of pocket expenses but boy they sure take a long time.

Sharon I got that same message but I lost my posts

Well was basically just going to say I am feeling much better.
We did go out to the Victorian Christmas in PA & had a bunch of fun, although it was very cold out, but only a small part of it was outside.

Now home resting!

Oh & got photos of my girls in the mail from the photographer. That was quick, we only had the photos done last saturday! They all came out great!

Okay, going to post before I lose this post!

Hi everyone;
Fun day at the crop today, got 6 or so pages done (or almost done). Then dh & I went out to a restaurant (Oodle Noodles) that we had a gift cert. from. It was pretty good, then hit Save-On-Foods for a few things for dinner tomorrow. At our hockey games, if our team scores on a power play we all get a gift cert. for this restaurant, we have quite a stack of them already and they're worth $10. Just finished updating my Gypsy and all went wellBigGrin

Nancy: glad you found Abby her dress. Hope dh hears something about his machine soon. My mom's birthday is New Years Day also, so we usually have a family birthday for her.

Joy: lucky you to have most of your shopping done

Sharon: sounds like you had fun at the Victorian Christmas. I get that same message every so often also. Glad the photos turned out well

Emelia: sorry I have no clue how the 3D rudolph goes together. Have fun with your mini. Welcome to our board, by the way.

Debbie: glad your son is having fun on his camping trip.

Deneen: nice to hear from you again. Glad you got some good shopping done also

Since Michael's has a 50% c/o I may venture in there tomorrow when I go pick mom up. Have to get some housework done first thoughMellow

Better run, bye for nowBigGrin

Really hoping my Imagine machine sells for a bit more on Ebay than it is already. If I get more than $200 I will be happy. I will be losing a lot of money still as it has 13 cartridges with it (including Santa's Village) but oh well, will still be good.

If anyone is interested: http://www.ebay.com/itm/...trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649

We are off to run errands this morning, 2 exchanges to make at Kohls & Five Below.
Then we may go get a Christmas Tree! It is cold out though right now, 34 degrees. So may wait until next weekend. Will see how we feel & how the kids are doing in the car. We go to a farm where you cut your own, so it is a fun experience.

Hope you all have a great day! BigGrin

I don't know who mentioned Windows 8, but it's nearly causing me to pull my hair out. I am struggling, that is what is on our new laptop. It's not terribly intuitive for me. I will get the hang of it, but it definitely is harder than any other version update I've come across in the past.

Visitors are gone....cleaning up then hope to do some scrapping later today and tomorrow. I need major creative therapy.

-27 here today with the wind chill (-16 for most of you guys). I guess winter is here! Soon I'll get out my skis. My snowmobile needs to go to the doctor Crying . It had a major break down last year.
A friend has asked me to custom make a post-it note holder for her. She has a friend (this makes me laugh) who is a Zombie Academic! She actually writes books about zombies! LOL So I have been busy trying to make one from a mummy. Not as easy as I thought it would be!
