Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to see if this will generate any interest.

Pretty much will work out the same way as the Cut RAK/Embossing RAK. You will post 5 wishes of your favorite Maggie Stamps and then wait for someone to grant your stamp wishes.

Please be sure that when you're stamping you use Copic Paper or something equal to it. I'm open to suggestions. I have never bought any but will try to do some research and see where we can get it at a good cost.

This is a great opportunity to get images of stamps you don't have! Sometimes, we just need one image for a specific project that we don't want to have to buy that stamp just for that one project.

Anyone can join, just post your wishes and grant some to others of stamps you have! Please try to send them in a timely manner and if you have any questions about the stamps just ask! Here are a few guidelines for our stamp RAK:

Each person is allowed 5 wishes per month. When putting your wishes please include:

1. Stamp Collection it's from if possible
2. They should all be stamped in good black ink
3. On Copic Paper, Xpress IT or equivalent
4. Four clean stamps of the same image per page
5. Each stamped page can be cut into quarters for easier mailing

When someone grants a wish you requested, PLEASE go back to your original post, click EDIT at the top and mark the wish as GRANTED. This saves a lot of confusion as the month goes on and more people are wishing and granting! Also pm your mailing address to the grantor as soon as possible.

If you are asking for a lot of stamps from one collection, maybe break it up into a couple of wishes, or don't be surprised if the granter only says they will stamp a few of them. I think 2 - 3 stamps per wish is a reasonable request if you want more than that from one collection, please break them up into multiple wishes.

For each month we offer an incentive RAK too. At the end of the month I will randomly pick one post number and send a small RAK to whoever did that post. So be sure to post your 5 wishes, post to grant wishes to others, check back often to see if there are more wishes you can grant, and post Thank-yous to those who sent you stamps! The more posts you have the better your chances of winning the incentive RAK at the end of the month! If anyone has any questions, please pm me or post them here on this thread!

If you have not completed stamps you promised from the previous month, please contact the person you are stamping them for with an update and complete them before posting your new wishes or granting stamps for this month! If someone has granted you stamps but you haven't heard back from them or received the stamps within a couple weeks, send them a pm to remind them. We all get busy and sometimes forget!! If you still don't receive your stamps or a response from the grantor, please pm me.

Have fun and try to offer stamps to others as well as asking for your own stamps!! Please try to do the stamps you offer in a timely manner! And don't send stamps to others that you wouldn't want to use yourself!

Interested!?!

I'm in! I don't have as many as some of you girls. I'm currently at 48, but I'll gladly share the images I have. I have a couple of oldies I'm wishing for.

Great idea Rebecca! One question, will it be ok to cut the cardstock into quarters so if we are only mailing one sheet it can go with a normal stamp as opposed to oversized? (does that make sense?)

Yeah! I love this idea, hubby can't complain if my stamp collection isn't growing and there are so many that I would love to have. I am more than willing to share what I have, mine are all recent. I started collecting about a year ago from the new collections. I have all the swedish clubs from this year and then a few others. Count me in!!!!

Janice~ That's a wonderful idea...wish I had thought of it myself. Yes, that would be fine. I'm all about the savings when possible. BigGrin Flapper LOL Laugh I think that we might be able to get 2 sheets of cardstock in one envelope. With current postage what it is and probably going up we should put as many in as we can with one stamp.

I'll check at the PO and find out how many we can do at one time. I know you're allowed (by weight) 6 sheets of regular paper per stamp. So possibly 2 of cardstock would be the same weight.

Alicia~ 48!!! WOWDrool Drool Drool ...I'm sure you'll be stamping A LOT!!! I think I have about 10. That's why I decided to do this so that I'm not always buying one for just one project.

Penny~ Welcome...Thanks, that's awesome!

I can't wait to get started. Traci also had a good idea ...if you all want we can do other images besides Maggie. She wants us to do Saturated Canary stamps as well. I'm all for it...

Let me know what you think... Have a Super Saturday, ladies

~Rebecca

Yeah, i bought a whole bunch of them when Scandinavian stamps was selling the older ones (not mini) for $7.99. They had just opened their eBay shop and wanted to increase their feedback. Now they only have a buy it now of 11.99.

I also have a couple of the Kenny K Whimsy Stamps and oodles of CTMH.

I like the idea as well of cutting the card stock to fit in envelope.

Alicia~ Wow, that's great. My sister is really great at finding those kinds of awesome deals. I, on the other hand, not so good at it! I think it'll be great to incorporate other stamp collections into the Swap as well. Thanks for the feedback

Have a great weekend

Yay, Jess~ I'm so glad you're in. Hoping some more of the Maggie sisters decide to join. I am going to start collecting the Saturated Canary ones too. Traci is thinking that she may start a SC Swap in January too...similar to the Maggie one, I think. I'll be in that one as well. I love doing Maggie and getting a different stamp each month...it's a great/fun way to build your collection! May I post a link on the Maggie Swap in January for this one?

Thanks

Love the thought of a Saturated Canary (SC) swap! I hope Traci does it! I would definately join! I just love those images! I am glad they are available in digi and rubber. Starting tomorrow Krista from SC is going to have a free digi available for 12 hours. Not sure when it starts but I am going to keep a check on it! She is going to have a 12 days of Christmas something going on. I don't really remember, you may wanna check out her FB page. Hopefully I can figure out how to download and keep the free image! Yes you can post a link on the maggie swap. I don't mind at all!

Hi Sweets~ It's going to work just like the Monthly Cut RAK. You will post a list of wishes that you would like to have stamped images of Maggies. If someone has the stamp that you would like an image of they will stamp 4 clean images and mail them to you. This way you will have a larger set of stamped images for projects that you may be working on. Let me know if this makes sense...

Happy to have you

Thanks Alicia~ I'll take whatever cardstock you have. I don't have to have the expensive stuff because I use color pencils to color my Tildas. So any white cardstock is fine if you don't want to use the express it! Thanks again

Thanks Penny~ That will be great. I would love to have the hibiscus flowers. You can use whatever white cardstock you have for my stamps. I color with pencils so that will work fine for me. Thanks again! I really appreciate it
