Okay Gwynne - I have been eyeballing this swap for about a week BigGrin - sign me up girl!

1. Do you have a preference as to which theme you’d rather receive – winter theme or shades of blue theme or mixture of both? I love winter themes or shades of blue (we did blue and silver this year for Christmas and I loved the combo)

2. Are there any craft items you would like to be made for you? I would love alter blocks, an altered canvas, charms, stick pins, etc. Things I can put on a shelf, the wall or a card Flapper

If you know your partner is newer at swapping, you can really make it easier on her with some suggestions that also follow the “large, medium, simple” plan of attack.

3. Are there things about the theme that you really like or dislike? For example: You collect snowman even though you live in hot Texas but because you live in the deep South, you really have no use for knitted mittens. I use a lot of snowmen when I decorate for Christmas and love snowflakes as well

Looking forward to chatting with all of you!

I have been cleaning my craft area and getting things ready for my project. I am getting really excited to get started. It's so funny just wondering what special items I'll get to make this round. I think I'll get some of my other things out of the way early so I'll have plenty of time to devote to this one. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Gwynne, as much as I am tempted to join, I couldn't since we are moving and I haven't pack a single item yet!Blink Winters are the busiest in the hospital and we even had to admit ICU patients to recovery overflow since we ran out of room in our regular ICU, and we have 60 beds! Busy shifts+active baby=tired me. Mellow

Cammi! It's SOOOO GOOOD to see you! You are so missed!

Have a great weekend everyone and I will be checking this thread out for your beautiful work.

I keep checking this swap and hoping it is closed, cause I really want to join. LOL....arm is sufficiently twisted, so I will join.

I've had a busy day between some cleaning on putting christmas decor away. I actually have to finish up tomorrow but that's my own fault - I took too many breaks doing other stuff that was way more fun or enjoyable.

I'll most likely post partners tomorrow evening after my work is done and dinner fixed, etc.

Sorry, have been organizing my craft room all day long! My ribbon storage had taken a beating this past several months, my paper roses needed to be put into something more protective, etc. Plus I had to put away all my stamps and paper and christmas themed stuff from last swap. Anyway, it looks so much better now and a clean floor too!

I even hung up my "Create" banner that Cheryl made me. It fits perfectly across the windows. My son commented on how nice it looks! He said she did a good job! lol (she did too!)

So atleast now I can pull out all my tax paperwork to finish up some year end stuff. Yuck!

And think about this swap too!

Partners will be posted on main page in just a few minutes.

Oh, and I have jury duty tomorrow - so will most likely not be around for most of the day though I'm so hoping I immediately get excused!

Please touch base with each other and post on here as you need to check in anyway today or tomorrow. Thanks!

Also, Evelyn....I think you have been using more then one MB name so you might need to clue Cammi in on that situation.

And don't be afraid to PM each other and give some more info out that might help your partner out with good ideas for you. Or, let her know that it's fine to create whatever she so choses that fits with the theme and is something she enjoys making and sharing with her partners.

Any questions, just ask or PM me.

Have fun creating and remember to check in weekly and then mail on time.

My only other suggestion is that many have indicated that they love snowmen, you might want to try to get mailed out way before DD so that the receiver can enjoy those snowmen longer before spring arrives! lol

Yeah, we have partners.

Sending a big HELLO to my partner Lana!!!!!!

I don't think I have made anything for you before but I do recognise the name. I see we have some of the same interests.
I'll also go check out your MQ to get to know you better.
I see you'd like a mix of winter and blue. I can do thatBigGrin

Now for a couple questions

Any particular style you like? Vintage, modern, romantic, girly, etc?
Do you have wall space?
Do you have shelf space?
Do you have PJ's for your Cricuts?
Do you sew?
What other color do you like that would go with blue?

If you have a questions for me, please feel free to ask.

Winter theme. We live in the mountains and already have a lot of snow.

2. Are there any craft items you would like to be made for you?
altered blocks, altered canvas, treat container, something to display on a shelf

Examples but not limited to - a banner, a sign, altered blocks, an altered canvas, cards, tags, something to display on a shelf, a treat container, a mini album, home made flowers, charm dangles, etc.

I love snowmen, snowflakes, winter scenes, etc. Also collect snowmen.

thanks,
Ali

Good Morning, Jean! I have a few ideas for this swap for you.

Now for a couple questions

Any particular style you like? Vintage, modern, romantic, girly, etc? I like Vintage, romantic style- our Anniversary is Feb. 11

Do you have wall space? Yes

Do you have shelf space?Yes

Do you have PJ's for your Cricut? No, this would be a cute idea

Do you sew? No, I took home ec but sewing was not my talent (haha), I wish I had learned because now being a crafter I think I would like it.

What other color do you like that would go with blue? Browns, tans, silver, white- I like it all; even red for love/Valentines is good; my DD is 8 yrs old and loves my swap items I receive and goes through and picks out what she wants as soon as my pkg arrives (too funny), Her goal is to go to college and be a "Dolphin Trainer" when she grows up so anything with beach/ dolphins/ fish is also great for me; DS and I are taking scuba lessons this spring so we can be certifified divers- the 4 of us are going to Bonaire for a diving vacation this summer

Questions for you:

What style do you like? vintage, modern, romantic, girly, etc?

What colors to go with blue for your items?

What die cuts for layouts would you like?

Hugs, LanaBigGrin

Good morning, ladies~

Sending big waves to my new partner, Birdseye7776, can't wait to get started on this project. I'm so excited to craft for you and get to know you better. I already have some ideas of what I'm going to make for you!

If there's anything in particular you'd like to give me some direction please feel free to do so. I was pretty specific in my answers to Gwynne's questions but if there's anything else you'd like to know just let me know.

Here are a few questions for you:

What kind of treats do you like? Salty/sweet (give answer for each please)

What color is the room where your piano is?

What style do you like?

Do you prefer coffee/tea/hot choc? Any particular flavor?

Hope you have a great day

~Rebecca

Checking in. My partner and I have already been in touch. This promises to be a fun swap and I can't wait to get started (if I ever get feeling better).

Doc gave me some nice strong drugs today so hopefully I will be up and around again in a couple of days. It's been a long long time since I have felt this bad with a sinus infection.
