I don't have a Yudu machine so I don't know if the ink used with it is similar to what is used on a commercial silk screening machine. But, my husband works for a company that does silk screening on all types of uniforms and sports items. He said they do not print directly on things like swimsuits unless they use a special ink that stretches with the fabric. Hope that helps.

It also depends on if it uses heat to transfer to the material. Too much heat can burn through the Lycra on the suits (I sell suits for a living, and have to deal with custom suits all the time). If you are able to do it, because of the stretch the "logo" won't look good after a few wears because of the stretch of the fabric and the nons-tretching of the logo. Hth!

No, you shouldn't use regular Yudu ink on Spandex. Our ink is water based and would not tolerate the flex and sheen of the material. There are professional inks, Plastone (?) that has a latex base to it. You can use that on the Yudu. Clean up would be much harder.
