Hello ladies!

I'm very new to Cricut. I have the flower shoppe cartridge and I'd like to curl (I think thats the right term) the flowers. I see many videos use a cricut tool thats called a bone?, and a quilling tool, and a tool with a ball at the end (kinda looks like an emboss tool. Can you ladies recommend anything or let me know if I'm missing anything?

Thanks so much! :)

Yes, You can use the cricut bone folder or any bone folder (or even the straight edge of scissors- like with curling ribbon), you can curl the paper around a pencil even. I sometimes use an embossing tool on the petals if I just want the edges to curl or ruffle and a quilling tool so that I can tightly wrap the paper as well. The best thing I found was to search you tube for videos then try out different methods on different papers to see what type of results I got.

Ditto to all that scrappinstaci said. Plus a hint (nobody told me this) is that after you have wound your cut around the quilling tool (you can use tweezers instead) is to let it go and unwind, then place a dot of glue on the wound area and glue. They are fun to make and all turn out so pretty. Also ink the edges before you wind your flower for a different effect.
