Is there a way to make it stick indefinitely?

TIA

I'm not sure...I know if you use an Oracle Vinyl for outdoors they last for anywhere from 5 to 7 years depending on the vinyl.

I guess I see people putting it on pillows and do the word collage in frames using vinyl. I guess they are using just regular cricut vinyl or are they putting backing on it?.

If it is on a pillow it is probably heat transfer vinyl, also refered to as HTV. You cut it out a bit differently and iron it on. It comes with its own backing/transfer paper. I think you cut it mirror image, so when you iron it on - it is facing the correct direction.

As far as on the word collages in frames - are you talking about when it is applied to glass? Any vinyl will work for that.

"Cricut Vinyl" is actually Oracal 631 vinyl. You can buy that from a lot of online stores - and some craft stores carry it too. Oracal 631 is rated as "indoor". You can put it on walls and remove it without damage. Oracal 651 is "outdoor" vinyl - it is more durable, and would likely damage a wall if removed. There are also higher grades that are even more durable. They are rated "marine grade". I buy from Expressions Vinyl - but there are many sources.

They also have some great "how to" videos on their website.
