Hi. I am new to Cricut. I have the Create machine which uses the 6 x 12 mat. I recently purchased the new Folkart cartridge and I am unable to cut borders (machine keeps saying the characters are too big for the mat). I attempted using the portrait mode but still am having probs. Is there anyone experienced enough to give me some pointers?

I also tried cutting some greeting card bases which I had to put on portrait mode, but it won't let me cut anything bigger than 3-1/2 inches (should be able to go up to 5 easy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Happy Cricuting!

Hi, I read your post. I'm sorry I can't answer your question but you should try re-posting your question in the forum "GETTING STARTED". I think someone there should be able to answer you. Good luck.
