Here are the 2 sketches that I choose for this week. Both are single layouts.
Use these sketches as a starting point for your layouts. You can rearrange them to suit your pictures.
Have fun with tthem and please post so we can see how you used the sketches.

Because of vacation, I went ahead and did these 2 layouts this past week.
The first one came out a little funky but I think I like it!!!!! The pictures are displays at the buffet tables!!!!
The second one is DH and I on the beach at sunset in the Dominican Republic in Jan. Not sure yet what I will add to the purple embellies!!!!

JeanP - cute layouts you picked!! I've got ideas for the first one, will be starting on it soon!! The second one is a little more challenging for me....

And Jean, your layouts are awesome!! - loved the papers you picked for your first one and love the embellies on the second one - especially the buttons and clips!!

I hope lots more of you can find the time to use the sketches and post them - I love the inspiration and ideas!!!!

Here is my layout using the first sketch. You can't see it much, but there is a Minnesota under there!! that I cut from the 50 states cartridge - have never used that one!! - and the date circle is cut from Fabulous Finds. My goal is to use all my cartridges this year!!

I am still working on the kids' adoption albums.

Thanks Jean! I love brown and pink together (and brown and blue).

We had a snow day yesterday so got to work on the second page. My first time with using one pic on a page - kinda turned the sketch on its side.

I lifted Jean's idea of using buttons for the splatters, but I used paper buttons using MCT dies. And used Extreme Fonts for the letters.

Nice job with this one also!!!!

Sometimes you just have to turn the sketch to go with your pictures. That is why I call them "starting points"!!!!

Hi! I used to do the LID challenge a lot more often but here I am again!

I used the top sketch as my basis for this layout:

JeanP - I have never seen an edible arrangement in person. Your look yummy! I also really like your second LO, both the colors and the use of paperclips. I am totally into those right now :)

ctibbmn - First, I think it is super sweet that you are making adoption albums! I could tell right away that was MN under there. Maybe because I'm from WI? I also like your take on the second LO with the journaling cut apart into strips.

Hey Greengirl - thanks for joining us!! Its so nice to see another take on the sketch. I hope you join us again!! I really like your printed paper as the background and your tag!! I took pictures of my kids last year for St. Patrick's day, but I lost all those pics when my computer crashed :-( and I didn't re-create them this year - maybe next year I can make a cute St. Pat's page!! Hope to see more of your pages soon!!

Finally managed 2 layouts this week...going to work my way backwards from the challenges and hopefully get caught up on some.

Sketch #1 is for my disney book. I had to change it up a bit as I only had three pictures to work with. I am going to put my journaling in the empty spot next to my bottom picture.

Cartridges: George (2010)
Dreams come true (title)

Nestibilities: Large deckled rectangles

Sketch #2 is another layout for my disney book. Loosely followed the sketch:)

Hi! I've been waiting for a bit of free time to put together a layout (and post it, which is something I never do!).

So even though the photo of the page is kind of lousy, here goes!

I chose the second layout for a photo of our kitten who just turned one. A couple papers are CTMH Sophia. But most of the papers are CTMH Chantilly collection. I've also used the stamp set from this kit as well as the the fabric covered buttons. The bird in the lower left-hand corner, the small branch and the leaves are from Home Decor cart and the bird, 3-d flowers and one border are from CTMH Art Philosophy cart.

Thanks for the fun layout inspirations!
