I have the Cricut Expression 2. Recently, the blade will not touch my mat/paper. I've tried a new blade and nothing...any suggestions? My machine is only a year old and hasn't been used too terribly much...

Sounds like the blade housing unit is installed too high. Try reinstalling it a bit lower. The blade housing unit has several indents in it and it will fit in the "arm" in different positions. Here is a picture from the regular E manual:

Thanks for the response, but that didn't solve it...I can't get the housing unit to get any lower...If I hold my finger on the top, [the part you push down to remove the blade], it will cut, but otherwise it won't..
