Here's my silly question: Why aren't the swing shapes on the Artiste cart with the cards? I don't think it is right that I would have to purchase another cart to complete a card.

I do not own the Philosophy cart. I made a few Swing cards today and based on information from YT video's, it seems I need the Philosophy cart for the various swing card shapes (the shapes in the middle). Is the info on youtube wrong? I cannot find where the shapes are, on the Artiste cart.

Any input is greatly appreciated & thank you in advance.

MTA: I found 5 of the shapes on the CCR Basics Cartridge Yeah!....

Best, Mary R.

If you are using a gypsy or Design Studio, can you put two cards together and hide the outside and the score lines and then weld the shapes together to make the shape of the swing in the card? In DS I placed two of the artiste swing cards on the mat and hid the contour for the outer edge. I flipped on card (flip before hiding contours because hiding contours causes the shapes to unflip) and placed together and welded. Not sure how the shapes will cut, but at least it is something.

I was frustrated over the fact that you had to purchase another cart to get the shapes!

Woohoo, I'll have to check that out. Much easier then welding the cards together!

Thanks

Ikes.. on two separate carts? I don't think I would have even noticed that. Happen to have them both. I'd love to see someone post a finished swing card. I keep seeing them at shows etc as Sizzex has a die for them, but would love to see the cricut one done.

I found this when I did a search:

Jessie Adams says she made these swing cards with Artiste.

http://www.cricut.com/fo...ARTISTE-SWING-CARDS.aspx

Here is another search. They even have a chart to tell you which CTMH cartridge that the companion shapes can be found on.

I found a useful chart in the cricutwithaheart blog that shows page, and shape for the swing cards but she used both AP and Artiste cartridge.

I had the same question a while back and this is what patv kindly replied:

they are all included. Accent 1 - page 33 and 65, accent 2 - page 48 and 60,
accent 3 - page 51 and 48, accent 4 - page 77 and 68, Card - page 35.

Hope this helps.
