So I don't know what came over me...I felt compelled to go to M's & Craft Warehouse.tonight an hour before closing. Thank goodness they are close - maybe it is a curse. I thought I missed a color of spray at M's the other day, but it was just my imagination that they had a White Opaque spray in the Heidi Swapp ones. I did see they had tray's - smaller tim holtz configuration boxes (the deep ones) and that Recolections has come out with a whole like of the thin wood ones in different shapes that were kind of cool. They were 14.99 and with a coupon - that would be cool. They also carry some 7 gypsies ones too. At craft warehouse I scored a TimHoltz new configuration tray/book for 30% off. Reg $12.99. It is kind of cool. I did find an opaque white there in a Mr. Huey's. I'll have to see how I like it.

Thank you for talking me down Kelley, my heart palpitations have subsided, and I don't have to breathe into my little brown bag anymore. I was starting to get panicky for signing on to so many swaps.Scared Now I am just excited and happy to get started.

I have a 50% coupon good for tomorrow only at M's...so I'm planning on snagging a config. tray tomorrow with that coupon! Have to return some clothes at the Mall, so I have a real good excuse to go uptown! I should drag DH along so he can buy one too with a 2nd coupon....bribe him with a gift certificate I still need to use at restaurant....

Okay, wish me luck...I'm about to get my new iphone set up. I got 4S but DH got himself the 5. He's footing the bill, so I'm not complaining one bit he upgraded more than me! lol But he has his up and running and he tells me it is "wild" - as in so cool with all the stuff he can do.

(can you tell we were rather behind in our old phones, and I mean really, really behind in all this tech stuff!)

ha ha Melody!

My old phone was so easy to use, and quick...as far as texting goes...

Now I have to figure out all this other smartphone stuff....

First thing I did was get the Michael's app....got my coupons now! ha ha!

Then I checked out getting to this MB....which I did...but with a tiny little screen...not sure why I'd ever want to get to the MB! lol

So now I want an ipad too! lol

edited to say that I just did accidently figure out that if I tapped twice it enlarged the print on the screen so that now I can get from page to page....

I still want an ipad though!

and I have far better things to be doing besides messing around with this darn phone! Like crafting!

Sunflower Sky these things are new to all of us. I did a real small one recently, but that is my only experience with them. Pamela made me a really nice fall tray for the AllHomemade Fall/Halloween swap. She used tons of cricut cuts. I just love it.

This will be fun.

LOL LOL LOL
Just for the laughs (...and some strong arming - person shall remain nameless) I would love to join.

I guess size may matter in this case Blushing and maybe it can be added to the preference? People could just edit their post to include a number 4. And if it doesn't matter or they don't mind being paired up with someone that doesn't match, they can add that, too. Just a thought.

1. Style preference? Vintage, heritage, shabby chic

2. Color scheme preference? earthtones, blue is my favorite! I don't mind pops of color.

3. Is there anything else you would like your partner to know? Please no cutesy or super girly. I lean more towards feminine but not super girly. Oh, I like pink but I would not like it to be the main color.

p.s. laughing at "how wrong does that look?" didn't want to look crazy so added an explanation.Razz

Got my tray today, the 12x15 black one from Ms using the coupon. I'm hoping I can find something kinda different but just in case I don't I grabbed this one for back up. I couldn't believe the 7 Gypsies ones were $30; call me a CheapOldBat but that's ridiculous!

2. Color scheme preference? Anything but Neon....Living room is Midnight green, with lighter greens. Kitchen is Colonial blue and mauve. Craft room is beige, with beige accents and a touch of beige added for contrast.
3. Is there anything else you would like your partner to know? (Likes, dislikes)Nothing really feminine, girly. I like Angels....so....laces is cool as long as it is not umm lacy.

I don't know why I had it in my head that this is due July 15th...but I did. Then I layed in bed, thinking about it, and realized that 2 months is June, not July! Good grief!

Anyway, whoever ends up being my partner....I'm giving heads up that I may need an extra week, cuz I joined thinking I had 4th of July vacation to create this! lol

I'm seriously in trouble now... junk journal and this swap due about same time...

No worries - I am being way flexible with the due dates for this swap - partners can discuss and mail on a mutually agreed date.

let's take a vote - would people feel more comfortable having three months to do this instead and have the due date July 13th?

glad to hear I wasn't the only one thinking July! lol

I know I would appreciate the extra time just in case I can't get it done in June before we go on vacation. Though I had planned on being done right over July 4th long weekend.

Style:
1. Vintage/Shabby chic
2. color: pinks/browns and cream (configuration box preferred)
3. anything you need to know about me: I am NOT picky. I just want to have fun with my partner and enjoy the swap. Love pretty and dainty things. Can be plain and simple. Does not have to be frilly and frou frou just pretty and dainty.
