WOW!!! IT'S ALL GOOD!!!!!

Start to finish - 43 minutes - and I covered all my bases.

Ok.
Unboxed.
Registered the product
Turned the machine on and off and inserted the blade
Put cardstock on the mat
Logged into CCR - connected the mini - the mini drivers loaded immediately
Followed the directions for the test cut - perfect.
Did another sample cut using my Calligraphy cart - perfect
Hooked the mini up to my Gypsy - did another test cut - lacy labels - perfect
Logged onto Rewards and entered reward points for the MINI and Cricut MINI font/shapes
Turned my Gypsy on, and did a Sync - it loaded the new mini font/shape cartridge.

43 minutes start to finish. Not one single hitch.

AND - my impression of how this MINI cuts - it is smooth (very very smooth), like it almost glides over the paper while cutting.

And quiet! The most abrasive noise it makes it at start up. Loud. But the cutting is very quiet in comparison to my other Cricuts.

God, I love this machine. I got it at Joanns for $99. I didn't want to order it online in case something was wrong, I would have a place to return it to. But this baby is a keeper!!!!

Oh - one caveat that really has nothing to do with the machine. I did disable my antivirus and firewall while letting the drivers load, and while doing my Gypsy sync. The Gypsy sync took maybe 30 seconds. Of course I never disable my antivirus and firewall to just routinely use CCR but in this instance when it was detecting a new machine I didn't want to take any chances.

This little machine is incredible. Now all I have to do is get a few more mats and I'm good.

Hopefully I don't develope problems down the road, but for right now, I couldn't be more pleased with my new machine.

Good Grief! What is going wrong with them? Where ever you bought them from I hope it's an easy return.

You should have gotten a points coupon in the box. 100 points for the mini and 90 for the Cricut Font and Basic Shapes digital cartridge. All on one coupon.

No, since I had the coupon for the points I just went to the rewards section and plugged them in. If I were you I'd call customer service and let them know. They should have been in the box.

Oh wow! Actually that's where I was going to buy mine - thinking Walmart has a very generous return policy. Plus there was that online bundle that included the little tool kit. But instead I snagged the last one at Joanns. It seems like it was just waiting for me.

I'm surprised that Walmart wouldn't take them back. I've even returned sewing machines there before.

So then the replacement Mini's were sent to you directly from ProvoCraft?

Congratulations. I've only had a few problems with tearing paper, but when I adjusted the pressure and blade depth, all was well. The mini is a great little machine for the price. I have sized things small on the mini that would not cut on the expression or the personal. It's just a great machine for the price.

Now, if they would only release a driver for Design Studio, I would be a happy camper. The gypsy works really well with it, but sometimes I just want a bigger screen for designing.

I love mine too. In fact I love it so much that I got a 2nd mini that I leave at my daughters. I'm there at least a week each month to see my granddaughter. I use the mini much more often than my E2. Glad you are happy with yours!
