I am just so overwhelmed, and feel the need to ask for good vibes/prayers... whatever you believe.

A friend of my husband's side of the family, Heather is a young mother. She and her husband had a beautiful 4 month old daughter, Eliza. Eliza died on Sunday evening. Both of them are a wreck. We all are a wreck, and with my daughter Rose being 6 mos. old, I just can't imagine. Eliza smothered herself in her sleep. She rolled over on her tummy, and didn't have the strength to move her head to get air. As I type this, I am losing it. Any prayers that can be sent to Heather is much appreciated!

I am sorry to post this here, but I know many of you through posting on here, and any strength that you can send to Heather and her husband Michael, well, anything is good. I know God has a plan. I do not understand. I do not get it and struggling with it myself, but I have to trust Him. I hope Eliza's parents, and extended family can do that too.

Thank you.
Mary

I am only new here but am so terribly sorry and saddened to read your post. I will be sending as many positive vibes as I can your way, and hoping you find the strength from your friends here and in your 'out of cricut' world to grieve, feel and grow stronger again as everyone tries to find a path to move forward on. I also wish this for your friends who lost such a precious child. warmest wishes.

Prayers to all. I am a Christian, yet this is the one thing I struggle with, how our Father can allow such horrors. I know Eliza is safe in the arms of Jesus. She will never know pain, sadness, loss, disappointment, sickness, fear, or any of the other evil things in our world. I pray her parents, extended family, and friends can find peace in God. He can, and will, heal this loss. It will never be OK, but Eliza will come to be remembered with smiles through the tears. A new flower blooms in Heaven, and our world is somehow less beautiful for this loss. Love in Christ, GG.

Oh my goodness, so sorry to hear of the loss of a beautiful being. May God be with you and your friends at this time no words can ever express the sadness of the loss of a baby.

Prayers to you and everyone touched by this very, very sad loss of a sweet, little baby. It's never hard to understand and we're not supposed to question.....but, I'm pretty sure a vast majority of us do. There aren't enough words to express condolences to anyone under these circumstances. - Char

Being a mother & now, grandmother I can totally see & understand why you posted this here...The more prayers you can get for this family the better. With God & time this family will get through this.

This is so so sad! I too don't understand why God can let such horrible things happen to us & our loved ones? It isn't fair & I don't know what can be said to these grieving parents right now, I really don't.

I feel for you & will say a prayer for this family.....

Sorry for the loss of this sweet baby Eliza..She is now an Angel.

I am praying that God comforts this family. As I sit hear typing this with tears streaming down my face, I know God has a purpose for all things. The human side of me is asking, Why? I have faith that this family will be comforted knowing that Eliza is with God playing and having a good time.

......sending prayers and positive vibes the family's way

I believe lossing a child is the worse pain there is. My thoughts are with these poor parents and the entire family.
Let me suggest an organization, Compassionate Friends, which is made up of parents who have had children who died. There are chapters in many areas of the country, and that is ideal, that the parents can actually go to meetings. If they do not live close to a group, there is also alot of support available online: http://www.compassionatefriends.org/home.aspx
The grandparents are suffering as well and I believe CF has resources to recomend for them as well.
Four days ago was the 42nd anniversary of the death of my 4 1/2 month old daughter. Yes, I remember that day every year, as well as her birthday, but time does soothe the incredible pain.
Of course, I think of her at other times of the year as well.
My hearts go out to all involved.
