Yay...just to avoid a mix up...I am creating for EvelynR#2. I take this to be:

pets
girls night out

Which sounds like a blast! Yay!

Hi Evelyn! If you have an ideas for me, feel free to shoot them my way. If not, I'm already letting my imagination fly off to fun places.

Hello Again! Yay! Love the RN to RN connection!

I have two teachers in mind, so pick which one sounds more fun. There is a music teacher we love (my daughter's 8th grade band/chorus teacher) and an elementary school teacher we love (4th grade). Both females. Both fabulous. I'd love a bag for either of them, so go wild with whatever appeals to you more.

My husband loves golf, football, and basketball. He's active duty Navy. He loves the Navy Seabees and is a mechanical engineer. He's goofy and big and fun.

Hope that's enough to let you head off down the yellow brick road of creativity. :) My head is already full of ideas for EvelynR too!

Hi Amy - Glad to be working with you again - I love your style !
EvelynR#1 and #2 are the same person...she is doing 2 sets.

Well, the masculine birthday for my son would be great if it was maybe a Fishermans theme...and my grandson would be a FLorida Gator theme - Blue & Orange colors with the green gator .... doesn't have to look exactly like the team mascot - but the colors would be great if you got the blue & orange together . COuld maybe have football players on it or something like that.

Thanks a lot !! Love ~Barb

HodMom - Your DH sounds wonderful ! I was married to a sailor once - my son's father...but my current DH is the son of a retired Chief and WWII Vet , so I will have fun with this one !
I have some awesome teacher ideas too - I just might have to make a set of both of your teachers!
If time permits, I will do that for you !Love

Have a wonderful week ladies !

JCI -- getting ready to go postal probably in the next week or so. I had to get a new computer after finding out it was the culprit losing my emails and locking me out and all sorts of things. So, now I am setting it up and loving it and very anxious to get all my reminders set and keep me on track with everything. I am sooo happy. Looking forward to our next round. I have already received one set of bags and will post pics tomorrow. I should be all set up and ready to roll.

Hope you all are doing well and having a great weekend. It is so nice to be here with great friends and having fun crafting. I have lots to do so I better get busy. Take care all.

Evelyn

KM - Thank you for that vote of confidence....I hope I can handle everything. I think making 5 cards is more manageable for most people and cuts down on postage a lot.

AMy - you are too super great ! I have not even started to get mine done, except for getting out the bags and the designing.

Will check back in later with y'all !!

Here are the pix of the wonderful "MANLY" bag sets I asked for Amy to make for me...She was telling the truth when she said she was good at making the masculine type stuff...My son and Grandson will really love these....the Gator was so detailed and totally layered with such precision ! Wow !! If some of you have never had the chance to partner trade with Amy you are really missing out on some professional and beautiful work ! Thank you so much Amy !!

The pictures cannot do them justice !!

Glad you liked them Barbara! I had a ton of fun making them...I learned a lot too...

It was the first time I had tried to use a "single image" in CCR. Turns out you have to do it like this:

Go to Machine and Mat and select Imagine (I don't have one). This separates all the layers for you. Drag them off to the side and create a different layer for each layer of the design. Then when you go to cut, leave it on Imagine but just choose Cut instead of Print and Cut. Works great but I had to call support twice to get it figured out. And now I know so it was a very good thing!
