1. Which do you need Single, double, or triple light switch plate? Single
2. What type of switch the standard, the flat toggle, dimmer, etc. Standard
3. Theme, colors, style? Steampunk/grunge/vintage is fine Black and White (Orange accents are fine)
4. Anything your partner should know?

My craft room walls are orange. The desk and shelves are black. The accent pieceses and trim are white (the desk top has white in it) I have used the black and white harlequine paper from Graphic 45 to decorate several pieces in the room. I have used the butterfly square label that is cut apart sheet - to accent. You don't have to use that - it is just for reference if you wanted to tie into the theme. I am good with what ever you make as long as it isn't PINK or CUTESY. :)

Hello to my partner scrappy piggy. I would like a double with a standard switch. I would like an altered blinged up key on it . Asian. Metallic gold and black accents, cream with diamonds - or Designers Choice, or a combination of both.

Just to clarify - the key does not have to be a part of the switch plate. You need to make two separate small items: the switchplate and the key unless your partner asks you to combine them.

Thanks,

K

Just waving hi to my partner KauiMelody.
The switch plate is going to be used in my craft room and right now most everything is white. I have a picture of Memorial stadium from Lincoln NE on game day called "Sea of Red" and then a Nebraska pendent so you can tie into that if you want or can do almost anything - I just do not like neon colors.

You can combine the key to the switch plate if you want or leave it as two different items. Which ever works best for you.

Will pm you my address.

Hi Candy..thanks for the info....would you like any type of embellishments on it, or just low key?

Denise

Mine is for the living room alcove leading to the powder room, so anything is fine. Walls are beige, hardwood floors, powder room is blue with stainless accents. Just no neons...lol

Denise, I think it should be fairly flat, I think it is used too much for anything that might be knocked off ... if you want to do chunkier, I could also use one in my hallway, that is pale pink and not used a lot

I just realized Mogo and Scrap2do that I paired you both together in two rounds in a row. I think i need to make a spread sheet so I don't do this again. Sorry. For the next round, send me a request for a partner.

Has everyone heard from their partner? I think there is only one person who has yet to check in. Hopefully by tomorrow.

I did a practice run on an old switchplate, and was surprised how easy it was to cover it with paint and paper. I painted it gold first and then covered with my paper and mod podged one coat. It looks like the print is part of the plastic. I am putting this in my bathroom which is Asian. Evelyn made me some gorgeous stick pins from the pin cushion swap and I incorporated it into the design. I left the pins in and just trimmed off at the bottom edge. Added a TH clasp too. Gail Lew had sent me some Chinese coins, blinged them and added too.
