Very excited to make this now , because I just updated my gypsy and made my first cut with CCR. When it was in beta, I got mad at it and hadn't used it for ages. Well , it was so much fun to use with the gypsy, so now I am not worried about making these shape cards.

I love CCR...not a gypsy fan. I only loaded about 10 carts into it when I got it. I never really got into using it. I need a mouse to design.

I really regret loading create a critter on to my gypsy when I was trying to make myself love it. I never realized how much I use that one and it's a pain that I have to go get the physical cart and plug it into the E2 every time I make a cut with it.

That said, I can make a mean shaped card in CCR. :) Good luck!

JCI -- Been doing a lot of research of shaped cards and have found tons of info. Now, I am having a good time playing around with some ideas. Had to stop for a couple of days because of my computer but that's all fixed now (got a new one).

Have a great weekend.

Hi Williase, male BD card with Ocean theme and a friendship card, Asian with nice color combos. No neon.

And what about you, anything you would like me to know?

Barbara, I thought about you when I first updated gypsy , I got a bridge error, but then when I registered it, it worked.

Ended up not using the gypsy after all to make these. Sometimes it is more interesting to attach the two images with embellishments.

Finished my second card, but to be sure, any shape on a card, even if it's just on the front and back - bottom of the card is considered a shaped card, am I right?

I have to go back to the first one and make some adjustments, not liking it right nowGlare... lets see!!

Now both of yours are done, Maria! Question: I don't have either a "It's a girl" stamp or a "Girl's night out" stamp. I do have a "Welcome Baby" or a Sweet Baby" and of course I have lots of general "friend" stamps. With that in mind, do you want me to stamp a sentiment on the inside of the cards or leave it blank? LMK, and I also need your mailing address please. Thanks!

However you want to do it is fine, any baby stamp will do and I don't have any "girls night out" stamps either, so any friend stamp will do too. I'll pm you my addy and in return, can you pm me yours, it will go out tomorrow.

Are we suppose to post pics before we mail or should it be a surprise? I thought I read that somewhere!!

Big Waves to my partner ScrapyPigy !! Your Bridal themed cards are almost done - Should have them mailed out by this weekend...How are you coming along ?

Sounds like most of you are moving right along with this.... Please look at joining my "ADDICTED TO CARD MAKING" Swap, which is now open and is a month to month committment. You can sign up for one month at a time or as many as you like. There is no danger of "flakers" because if you don't send in any cards, you won't receive any cards in return ! Eliminates that problem completely by having particpants send the cards to the hostess (me ! Love ) You will make 5 cards in the A2 size and send them no later than the 30th of the month. On the 7th day of the month I will mail out all the cards I receive for the prior cycle....May's theme is for Masculine cards.

Hi Amy,

Just missed the post office by 4 minutes. I thought they closed at 5:00 not 4:30. I'm heading out early tomorrow and stopping at the post office on the way, it's going out priority, so it should get there quick, sorry! I will post the dc# later on that day, as I will be gone most of the day.

Oh and thank you, I'm sure I will love them and use them!!

Thanks,
Smile Maria

Hi Everyone ! I was finally able to get my computer, Gypsy, Imagine and the CCR to talk to one another...I was beginning to think they had declared war on me ! Scared
So I am able to do the cards I wanted to do...can't wait to get these done but I had to finish the Mother's Day cards first and working on mini-albums too.
Looks like a very busy week ahead !

I think I finally have figured out what I can do - had to sort thru some carts and that gave me some inspiration.

Melody - when you say "nice colors", what are you looking for? I was planning for a light green.
