Cindy, those brushes are both beautiful! Great job!

Mine is out for delivery today but I don't think I'll be here when it arrives. So will be later today before I can post again.

My brush from Lori has arrived! Great idea Lori! She changed the brush into a tree! I'd like to know where you found the tree handle to place on top of the original brush? Is that something we can buy at craft stores? Pretty nifty idea.

The leaves section of the tree is metal and she colored it with green paints or inks of some type....and brushed on some gold highlights too.

Nice job and thank you! and yes, now I need a small plaque or something to go along with it to use as a grouping on the wall to tie it all in together! lol Actually, I may have the perfect spot for it next to a Family plaque Cheryl56 made me! Probably a nail hole there too already.... lol

Once again, I have been so amazed at everyone's take on these brushes. This has become one of my favorite swaps. How everyone can take a common low-cost item and transform it into something amazing. Thank you all for making it an enjoyable experience.BigGrin Love BigGrin

I am so glad you liked it. Smile I actually used polymer clay and pressed a wood grain embossing folder into it. Definitely something you can get at crafts store.

Kelley...thank you for coming up with these monthly swaps. These monthly challenges have helped me in my creativity and I'm learning more and more with each one I join. I'm still amazed at how creative everyone is and how creative I can be...LOL

Ladies...I'm sorry I didn't comment on each and every paintbrush, but I want all of you to know that I liked each and every one of them. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the different creations and techniques done with something as simple as a paintbrush.

I received my Paint Brush from Candy yesterday and it is just beautiful!!!! The brush is painted green ( I Love Green). She put a gorgeous blue stained glass butterfly on the handle. I think she used dichroic glass for the butterfly, it has a very pretty rainbow effect. There is also another paper butterfly, a bee, a ladybug, a snail, a dragonfly and some very pretty flowers.

I hung it on my wall last night next to some display cabinets ( I keep my Harmony Kingdom boxes in the cabinets) and on top of one of the cabinets there was a dragon I made. Wellllllll I'm not sure what happened but the dragon must have taken flight because he is nowhere to be found. Lol. He must have thought he couldn't compete with the lovely paint brush and has gone into hiding. LOL Crying LOL

Thank you Candy for the wonderful Paint Brush. Don't anyone even think of asking for it. It already has a display site and that is where it is staying. Candy I will be mailing your brush on Friday.

Thank you Kelley for the fun swap. I really am enjoying alll the swaps this year.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend,

Debbie

Couldn't get my pics to attach to the above post. I'm going to try and see if they will attach to this post.

I get an error message that reads "The network path was not found". Does anyone know what that means?
