Wow Gwen, I would have thought that because I am further south than you, you would have received them first.

Working on itBigGrin Probably be due in Sept(think fall)
Thinking of maybe using the same theme and technique and see what everyone comes up with.
I'll have to add some restrictions though to make it challengingLOL

My ATCs arrived today and I too am just wowwed by how great everyone did with this challenge! By far the best set of ATCs I've ever received!

You ladies did super wonderful! How you came up with some of your ideas is beyond me!

Sunflowersky - you owe Tim Holtz a huge thank you! He got you out of a jam! industrial and girly! I'm just amazed at your idea. Thanks to you I now have an appreciation for his drawing board stamps that I previously thought I did not like.

Laura - yours made me giggle...just finding the wrapping paper in itself amazes me...

Alicia - you truly outdid yourself with what you were challenged with and I don't think anyone, not even the best artist in the world, could have come up with a better ATC!

Jeri, Tim Holtz saved your butt too! lol

And everyone else's was super but the above really had hard challenges, imo.

No one took the easy way out, for sure.

Thank you ladies, I'm truly humbled by your words.

I got to agree, these are by FAR the best ATC cards I've received, let alone seen! Everyone met the Challenge head on and exceeded expectations!

I thought I might use some for cards, but PFFFTTT.... I'm keeping them ALL!!!

Here are some sites that I liked from some of the vendors at the stamp show last weekend.

http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kittiekraft/
This is a great site if you do a lot of stamping and/or make cards. This has lots of tutorials listed on the right hand side. The first one I think is Beach scene and it is pretty cool how she does the card.
The stamp sets come from Rubbernecker which I LOVE!!!!! I have a few of the Kitty Kraft setsBigGrin

This place has lots of "different" stampsBigGrin Steampunk and some weird ones!!!! To me anywayBigGrin
www.lost-coast-designs.com

This one has a few neat videos
www.stampsbyjudith.com

This site has some nice stamps and also dies to go with some of them. These are stamps that you use with Marvey Brush markers. Cool!!!! I love how they come out. Every time you use them, they come out different. I bought some kitty stamps and some leaves.
www.localkingrubberstamp.com

last one has a great video on using Mica Gloss metallic. Love what she does with them!!!!
www.judikins.com

It's supposed to be a rainy weekend so maybe you'll get a chance to check some of these out.

SPOILER ALERT! I'm commenting on specific things here....

Gwynne- I found the paper(both the bacon and foil) at Perpetualkid.com I love this site for fun unique gifts for my Nieces and Nephews. Anything to do with bacon, mustaches, or Weird Al is a big hit with them. Even the 15 YO boy loves it, who's age is usually impossible to buy for.

I love those Dia De Los Muertos stamps Jean!

BB- How did you get the stamped and embossed image like that? I mean so the edges are not bleeding together. I can't figure out how you did that. Embossed the paper first, then stamped and embossed the ink?

Lisa-I'm scraplifting the mustache butterfly-brilliant!

Like I said- They're ALL fantasic! So happy I joined this one.

Thank you Jean for hosting and all the ladies in this swap for the amazing work! Mine arrived yesterday but I wasn't able to look at them until today. Yesterday was pre-K graduation! I am not sure where the time has gone! I have known some of you since before Isadora was born and she is soon to be a Kindergartner!

I love them. That clown on the right though? The face looks a little too much like John Wayne Gacy for me. Maybe I'll get it just to terrorize my 12 YO Nephew, he hates clowns.LOL

What a great swap. I'm sitting here looking at the cards again. They are super amazing. Gwen, I'm glad you like the TH blueprint stamps a little better. He is my hero. Thank you Jean for a fantastic swap. I'll look forward to the next one.

Ladies, I recieved mine but hadn't had time to comment. I love all of them and everyone did such a great job. These are were so much fun. Kelly how did you do the edges of yours? I love them.

I was floored by how creative some of yours were. Alicia, It was perfect and I love the use of the hardware.

The bacon wrapper made me giggle.

I am glad you liked the mustache butterfly. They were so small I was afraid no one would be able to figure out what it was.

Jean thanks for hosting such a fun swap and all the artists for their wonderful creations!Love Love
