I'm sorry you are stuck updating. This is one of the reasons I will only update during PC's support hours. If it's moving, but slow, I would just plug it into AC and let it go overnight and see if it finishes.

I'm having the same issue with updating my Gypsy...it is stuck.Angry
Wish I could update during PC support hours, but I'm working and don't get home until after PC goes home. I believe they forget there are those of use who do our crafting on the weekend. I'm going to try resetting my gypsy if I can find the instructions, which I believe are on the forum somewhere. If that doesn't work, guess I will have to wait until I have a day off during the week.

I have kind of given up on my gypsy and use CCR. Every time I have had to update my gypsy, it gets stuck and I have to restore it. I end up loosing all my projects and have no idea what is linked to it anymore.

Hope it works out for you, I know how frustrating it is.

Hello,

If your Gypsy is stuck on the 2nd to last step (Process Content)it does sound like your antivirus may be interfering with our program. We would like to recommend contacting your antivirus provider to make sure that our programs are added to the exception list including Cricut Sync, CCR Bridge and Cricut CraftRoom.

After adding these exceptions you will want to start the Format and Restore process again.

1) If you will plug your Gypsy into the computer with it powered off and open up Cricut Sync
2) You are then going to select “Don’t Update Now” if it prompts you to update.
3) You will then go up to the “Help” option
4) You will then select “Troubleshooting”
5) There will be questions that will now show on the window. Will you please answer them as follows: Yes No No No Yes
6) It will then prompt you to put the Gypsy into recovery mode. You can do this by doing the following:
a. Hold down the bottom left silver button, right silver circle, and the power button all together. A blue screen will appear.
7) Once this troubleshooting process is finished we would like you disconnect your Gypsy and try designing with your Gypsy

If after doing this troubleshooting process it does not fix your issue then would we would like to recommend that you call the number below where a representative will be happy to walk you through further troubleshooting or the replacement procedure for your Gypsy.
