I don't know if iPad uses FLASH technology; if it does you might be okay.

BUT, to be sure, I think it would be best if you call PC direct and ask the question.

I know users can use some of the handheld technology; but, I forget which can and can't!

I think it would be best to call PC. You can access their numbers going to SUPPORT tab at the top of these forums.

Hello, the Craft Room is not designed to be used on an Ipad or tablet. If you are concerned about your Gypsy you can call customer service at 877-7cricut. We can assist you! We now offer repair options also for the Gypsy!

Well over a year ago, people started posting about being able to use a flash app {the most common two were iSwifter and Puffin} with CCR. Try google and you'll probably find the info you need.

The craftroom works on the iPad with a browser called Puffin. You can design but not cut. It's very slow and quite fiddly but better than nothing I suppose.

Hi everybody! My apologies for the delay. Life has been crazy-busy lately and I haven't had time to do much crafting much less log into the forum and check messages. I just sent PM's to those who asked for the info on how I use CCR on my iPad. But there has been so many people asking about it, I figure it would be easier just to post the info here:

I use CCR on my iPad often with an app called Photon. It is a Flash-player browser for the iPad/iPhone and should make the web-based version of CCR work for you. Unfortunately, you will be unable to cut with this method, but at least you can design and save into your account, then go to CCR on a computer that you can connect your machine to and cut from there. You can find the app in iTunes for about $5-$10 (depending on whether it is still sale priced).
Also, Photon has a bit of a learning curve to it (in my opinion) so I'd recommend taking the "tour" to familiarize yourself with how the app works.
By the way, since CCR requires an internet connection, you must be connected to the internet on your iPad. BUT, I think (can't remember) that Photon and CCR will also work through a 3G connection. I don't usually use this option because I don't like to use all my data plan on my iPad.
Anyway, hope this helps. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions. Posting a reply on this thread doesn't get through to me... for some reason, I don't receive email notifications from the forum threads anymore so I don't see your post until I go to this specific thread and read it. ThumbDown
