So I know that the linking option for the Gypsy to CCR is now available. I'm trying to decide if I should link my G. I haven't updated in a while (firmware in a long time, content in about 6 months or so). While I don't plan on really using CCR, I'm thinking that it may be a good idea to link to CCR in case my Gypsy dies on me (since they are not longer for sale Crying ). Here are my questions:

1. Will I have to update the firmware first?
2. Will I loose my free cartridges that I got for registering my G by the certain date?
3. Is it going to crash my G?
4. Will it delete any of my saved files?
5. Can I do everything the same in CCR as on my G?

I haven't updated firmware in so long b/c there were so many problems and I use my G too much to loose it. If it's a safe option, I'm thinking it might be a wise idea. Any comments are appreciated. I'd like to know about your experience and what your thoughts are on this.

Thanks in Advance!!!
