How long does it take to get the benefits of the circle once you use reward points to join?

You should get an email with the code you need from rewards within a couple of days. Once you use that code to purchase your membership you should get instant access to the circle forums.

You'll then probably have to email PC and have them add your circle info to Rewards.

Other than that (apart from the cartridge that might take a couple of weeks to arrive) there's really nothing else you need to wait for.

That does sound odd. Perhaps try adding more to your cart so that you have over $50--in the circle you get free shipping with a minimum $50 purchase. Just a thought if you don't want to wait.

Shipping and handling on the circle membership is supposed to be free. You may get charged $3.60 but that is supposed to be refunded.

Are you following the directions on how to purchase a circle membership using rewards at http://www.cricut.com/forum/cri...-with-Reward-Points.aspx

If you don't do it exactly as the instructions say you may be actually purchasing the membership twice.

i am following the directions... actually i am not even purchasing the circle once let alone twice!! all it does is put my chosen cartridge in my cart for 79.99!!!! the membership does not show like it does in the example!!which it then takes off the 79.99 but still charges me shipping!!!

Shipping charges $29.93... Guess what they can keep the cartridge and circle membership and give me back my 3000 points and I will use them on the carts they have in rewards.

There's obviously a glitch somewhere in the system. Like Narelle said, shipping is free for the Circle membership cart regardless of whether you buy with reward points or cash. I joined using rewards points this last time and didn't get charged a shipping fee.

Once someone calls PC and alerts them to the error, they can get it fixed for everyone.

That happened to me when I signed up last August - I just called them (actually, i think I did on-line chat) and they could see the shipping charge and they gave me cricut.com credit for the amount of the shipping.

I hope they get it fixed. By the way- do you get a full year from when you join or is rated by quarters still? BJR.

BJR - It's a one year membership. 3000 points or 79.99.

Thanks I did know its a year but does it start from your day you purchase it or does it still end at the end of its calendar year as it used to? BJR. Hope I phrased that better.

The membership is one year from the date you purchase it. There are no more quarters or "Circle year".

You'll get the one cart {you select when you purchase your membership} and the "perks" {10% off at cricut.com, free shipping on purchases over $50 on cricut.com, 2 reward points for every $ spent on cricut.com and the Circle forums} for one year.

well... their solution was to give me a store credit to cover the shipping. i had another issue to which CS replied... NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT THAT.. ANYTHING ELSE I CAN HELP YOU WITH? IF NOT HAVE A GOOD DAY. SERIOUSLY...i used to be the happiest cricut customer but the CS sure is making me change my mind..Angry

Store credit to cover an unreasonable shipping charge for something that is supposed to ship free? Sounds about right for Cricut.ThumbDown
