I have been gathering my rewards for a long time now. I only accumulated around 1,500 points. I gave over 4,000 points to my daughter in law.

So today, I figured I would go ahead and use mine. I chose the embossing folders and the spatula. Came to 1,400 points. Cool.

I go to check out, and here is where I am disappointed with Provo Craft. Confused In order for me to get my 'rewards', I need to PAY $12.50 ( I think this is the amount) to have this shipped to me. The only selection is FedEx. It's not worth it. Even a medium filled box shipped via USPS is under that amount. I'm sure that this will fit in a small USPS box for only $5.15.

Needless to say, after spending thousands of dollars on just cartridges, (I have over 250 cartridges), and after buying 3 machines, (baby bug, and 2 expressions), my reward points will now just go by the wayside. Mad Mad Mad

I just refuse to pay any more $$ to ProvoCraft, and I'm sure they don't care.

Anyone else feel this?

The shipping charge is ridiculous. PC should really do something.

Yes! I completly agree. The shippping cost is a joke- I guess it is considered a "handleing charge. What a waste of a once good name and company!

It was why I never used mine. I could get all their "free" offerings cheaper on EBay. I order ALOT online. That is an outrageous shipping charge.

I gotten lots of items with my reward points. I think it helps if you stay below a certain weight on the items and then they use USPS. But, for FedEx, the more items ordered, the cheaper the shipping. Part of the shipping charge is a $3 handling fee. PC has always used a fulfillment company to the manage the rewards program. I'm sure that is to cover a fee they pay that company. And shipping has to be paid because the USPS, FedEx or any other delivery company work for free. The program isn't advertised as being "free". You just use points instead of dollars to get items.

I think some of these issues are why the entire rewards program is going to be reviewed. . .and probably scrapped.

I've finally got enough points to get a cartridge but there is nothing I want. I've been waiting for ages!!! I would love to see them consider some kind of calculation where points could be converted to dollars which could be used to purchase digital cartridges/images. For example, 1,000 points would equal a $10.00 credit for digital purchases. If you wanted something that cost more than the credit, you could pay the difference or buy digital cards and individual items. You would not have to pay postage and a handling fee. For those that don't want digital images, they could still have the existing rewards program. What do you think?

I agree that something needs to be done about the Program...I would hate to see it ended but there could be store credit given for Cricut.com or one of their "SECRET" retail sites that they think no one knows about ! BigGrin Cool

I have 7680 Reward Points but I live in the UK.

Last I heard, but things may be different, we weren't entitled to receive rewards over here. This may have changed, I have been away from here for sometime and I am only just getting up to speed with whats been happening, which turns out to be a lot.

It would be great for ANY PC customer, who has earned Reward Points, to be able to use them. The digital idea would work well for those who use the CCR. You would still have to find a solution for those who do not wish to be digital or who would prefer physical ownership of a cartridge for crops (with no WiFi) and shares. Maybe an earn back postage scheme, the more rewards you redeem the more you save towards shipping, you could save and save and then find because you don't live in the US you can't be part of the scheme, oh wait I forgot that happened with the Rewards scheme.
Well we don't want to do that again do weLOL

I agree the shipping is an outrage and there has been nothing there I want. My rewards have been piling up for about a yr now. Wish they'd come out with new stuff. I already own most cartridges anyway and most machines too.

Well now that it's been 9 months, what has been done about all the feedback Cricut loves hearing, to improve the rewards program?
