TIPS,SHARES AND GREAT IDEAS, FROM OUR FEATURED CRAFTERSWub

ORGANIZING EMBOSSING FOLDERS (GypsyDeb)
I have a combo of things I have mine in a box in individual folders with the embossed image on the outside as well as the name of the folder. I wrote on the actual folder it's real name. And then I have a key ring with a sample of the embossing cut 3x3 and the name written on it. Then everything is in alphabetical order and if I'm in the mood to buy new ones I just drop the ring in my purse so I don't duplicate.

FREE PRINTABLE BOTTLE CAP IMAGES( heaven 4338)
You can find allot of free printable bottle (heaven 4338)
caps online too.
I just binged it and got all these http://www.bing.com/imag...cap+images&FORM=IGRE
I have some tucked away but forget to use them on projects, maybe I'll use some on this swap...

GREAT TIPS FOR STORING CUTS!!!(CrafteerMisadventures)
I store them in a folder with Page Protectors (for big cuts) that I Heat set in the middle to create two pockets. For smaller ones, I use baseball card Page Protectors. Or I recently found cupon page protectors at Walmart in the same Isle as the baseball card protectors.

BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY PICTURE FRAME (Lauraa)

GORGEOUS FAMILY LAYOUT (CrafteerMisadventures)

Here are pics of tics I did for the Fourth of July. Very fun with instant gratification, because you are working on a small surface , yet it is challenging also, as you must narrow your choices.

MINI TUTORIAL/How to make your own, if u don't have a die cut(I TOLD YOU THIS SWAP WOULD BE EDUCATIONALLOL LOL LOL)

Measure and cut 5 strips, 10 inches by 1 inch:

Fold every inch,(accordian fold) along the entire strip for five attached tickets

Using a crop a dile or hand punch, place holes on both ends of the fold:

Voila!!! You just made your very own tickets from scratch - aren't they cute???

Sounds like fun, I do have a question tho, are all five strips to be the same?
Or can/should they be different since they are all going to the same person?
Let me know then I will make my final decision about joining.
DH is back in the hospital so sometimes that makes it a little harder
to craft being out of town so much.

Hi Kathy, so nice to see you here, tickets can be all different. These go superfast and are nice to add on projects. I even have hung them on my gate as a welcome, and have wrapped them around vases. I attach a long ribbon on each end, and Voila, it becomes a mini banner.

You are always in my thoughts as you care for your DH. Remember to take time to pamper yourself whenever you can. I promise I won't give you too much of a razzing if you join us.Flapper LOL Tongue Razz Wub (Just a little to make you smile )

You have it right Colleen. These go superfast and if you add a long ribbon to both ends, it magically turns into a mini banner, and can wrap presents and what not. Barbara, so happy you are coming on board!!! Anything you create will be fantastic, I just know it. I will be posting pics of some different ways these can be used. My favorite is adding long ribbons to the ends and turning them into a mini banner. I have wrapped little presents with these, used them around flower vases, and marked my gate with them, so guests knew where to go. It is also fun to tear one off and add it to an altered project, card or scrapbook page.

If you check out post #2, you will see lots of pics and techniques for crafting these tickets, and also, some ways to use these after you get them.

Barbara, this may help you figure out what you would like to use them for and what to ask for.
