Does anyone use a 1" circle punch, or cut 1" circles on their machines (using center cut for pics) and put them inside bottle caps? I have been punching these out a lot lately, as a friend of mine has been donating their caps. Anyone order bottle cap pics on line? I noticed etsy offers quite a few at $4.95 a sheet. (That's why I punched my own and used them on the bottle caps on my 4th of July tickets).

I was still debating about joining this swap but it looks like Melody added me to the list so I guess I am inBigGrinLOL

1. Theme for my ticket strips: Anything summery for kids, birthday, get well, love. SEE #6

2. Style I would like: ANY
3. Techniques for my partner to try: Any
4. Embellishments, materials I prefer: MUST Be pretty FLAT and NO GLITTER
5. Colors that would make me happy:Any

6. I would like my partner to know: I want to use these tickets on cards. I send in to "Cards for Soldiers". I will be making cards for the troops to send home for kids so anything stamped with a cute saying, or something I can color quickly, or a Birthday/Get well/Hello greetings, etc.
The cards have to be pretty flat so nothing overly embellished. I can use pop dots on the ticket but that is about all.

They can be 5 different strips or all the same; whatever is easiest for my partnerBigGrin

If you have any questions, please ask!!!

ThumpUp ThumpUp I'm in! I'll go back and answer the questions in a little bit.

1. Theme for my ticket strips: Summer, beach or patriotic

2. Style I would like: I love vintage and distressed

3. Techniques for my partner to try: Any technique you would like. I love all techniques.

4. Embellishments, materials I prefer: I love all embellies. Bottle caps, glitter, wood, flowers, little objects, have fun and use whatever you have.

5. Colors that would make me happy: I love summer colors. You can go patriotic with red white and blue, or shore colors like blues, browns, whites, and greens. Sunrise or sunset colors are great too.

6. I would like my partner to know: I will probably be using these for scrapbook pages, cards or maybe gift bags. Then again, I might just keep them all for myself and use them as embellies on storage for my craft area. LOL I love being surprised and I adore anything handmade, so I just want my partner to enjoy themselves while they create these tickets.

I should pass on this but my arm was pulled really hard by someone I couldn't possibly say no to...

Copy and Paste:

1. Theme for my ticket strips: I'm open to any theme

2. Style I would like: grunge, vintage, steampunk

3. Techniques for my partner to try: distressed stains(think Tim Holtz)

4. Embellishments, materials I prefer: whatever works with grunge, vintage and steampunk

5. Colors that would make me happy: earthtones(browns/beige)if going vintage etc, I also like pinks/purples I have a pellet for color I love them all plz no neon colors this round unless your doing something summer and fun.

6. I would like my partner to know: please no photocopy cutouts, I like to balance the tickets with dimensional art if possible but not limit to, have fun designing the tickets I'm sure I will enjoy whatever theme you creat for me.

AAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, THAT IS SO SWEET (It brought a tear to my eye) I remember being passed over in gym class too, downright painfulCrying

So in Special Recognition of left out NEON, we will make this officially, NATIONAL NEON WEEK.

You are all encouraged to post NEON pics here, in honor of this poor left out entity.

Thank you so much Laura and Colleen, for bringing this to our attention, and giving us the opportunity , to honor the left out and downtrodden. I think , there is a little NEON, in all of us.Laugh

So our mantra this week will be, NEON NEED'S LOVE TOO (proudly plagerized from Colleen)

YOU ARE OBLIGED TO LOVE WHAT I MADE YOU -priceless!!!

I use it often, that way they can't throw it away IMMEDIATELY.LOL LOL LOL

Ok funny story that is a perfect tie in-
When I was a kid my Grandma had this neighbor who was probably a little slow or something, but I was a kid so didn't know any better. He made those crochet doll tissue covers that were all the rage in the 70's.
One day he comes over to Grandmas all excited to give me his gift.
Much to my 7 year old horror he made me a DOLLY PARTON complete with GIANT boobs, long wig, and frilly neon pink dress. I almost cried, but my mom made me thank him. My parents thought it was the funniest thing ever and showed everyone. I was actually scared of the thing and hid it in my closet. Man, I would pay to have that now....
