Pretty! I have made 2 so far, one with Sashay yarn and one with Starbella. I like the Sashay best. the Starbella didn't ruffle as nice. I need to take pics and post them.
I took then to work to show a friend, and another gal loved them and asked me to make 10 for her to give for gifts! I wasn't planning on making them to sell, but, I told her I would do it.

I have tried to make one with a loom, but it just didn't go well...
I can do a regular yarn scarf on the loom...
any tips?

Again, the pink scarf is so, so, so pretty!!!!

this is a good video, shes using a different type yarn but the concept is the same except instead of 8 pegs I used 6.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QG6ttcVlWV0

heres another viedo she uses a different yarn(I tried this type and the loops were too big I didn't like the look of it, the "Red Heart Boutique Sashay" comes out a lot nicer)...I skip every other loop and I don't pearl, I move the stitch to the back pegs.

hope all this helps

Thank you very much for responding!

I found the 2nd video over the weekend that you sent the link to and I actually successfully made a scarf!!
I used Starbella in plum preserves. I think I did a good job, considering it was the first one made!!
(I lost a loop several hours in and started over...) ugh...

I am heading to acm today and plan to look for the "tutu" yarn, I love pink!!

ThumpUp Super Happy your scarf was a success.
the Starbells is OK, but I think the netting is too big. When you make one with the Red Heart Boutique Sashay you'll see it comes out nicer...the netting isn't as big.
Wub Let your ruffle scarf addiction beginLOL LOL
