I spotted some new SUPER HUGE tags recently that will accomodate the DOLL Stamps - and of course, we can always cut out our own...Who is interested in me setting up a DOLL STAMP SWAP ? Would you prefer tags, or just images on cardstock ? I am thinking of doing White Ink & Embossed Images on BLACK cardstock or chipboard !! Woot Let me know ASAP Wub

I would love to do a Doll Stamp swap. I have 2 now and should be getting the whole new set tomorrow so it will be fun. I don't really have a preference of tag over cardstock unless we decide to do a decorate and trade and then I definateley would want a decorated tag.

Not so hot on white ink. Too hard to find a good one.

Hi Everyone -

I have told Andrea to get her tags in the mail by tomorrow and I will include them in the sorting out Tuesday night...but anyone who wants to directly trade with her, of course that is fine with me.

I would also love to do the Doll Swap , and I think I will make it optional to do White on Black or Black on White....You can also make your own tags if you PROMISE to use some really heavy cardstock or chipboard.... I found some new Ranger Tags that are 10 1/2 " long and they come in Manila, Brownish color, and Black. One awesome way to stamp on Black papers is to use bleach instead of ink. You can also use clear embossing ink and emboss them with white embossing powder.
I will do some for samples and post them...

So - I will be setting up a Prima Doll Stamp Image swap this weekend...give me a little time to sort out the details and I will get it on here.

THANKS and have a HAPPY WEEKEND !

Still waiting on the tags from MsChewie. The postal service tracking shows delivery expected by June 28th but they have not yet arrived....weird. I hope you got my address correct - did you send to the Post Office or my home ? Hopefully they will be here tomorrow.
Also will wait for Dancingstarr's packet if she gets them posted in the morning.

Thanks ladies for all the lovely work you have done. Love

I just wanted you to know that I will most likely be mailing back out on Friday. I would like to use Online postage through USPS.com so that it will automatically be put on tracking, instead of using stamps. FOr those of you who sent stamps, I will return any excess postage stamps to you, and if you sent me cash, I will refund excess money of $1.00 or more. If this is not okay with you, please let me know and I will use your stamps. I just thought this would be easier and more efficient...and I will bear the cost of the 1/2 page labels that are needed. THanks !

Got everything sorted and packed, but due to a heavy work schedule and a toothache, was unable to get them mailed today. Hopefully tomorrow I can get them posted. It took quite a long time to sort them all out and make sure I was getting the right things in the right packages....and then weighing them. So please bear with me...you will have them in your hands next week !

Thanks for participating !! Love

If you have never hosted a swap before, many of you don't realize that it takes a LONG time to get these swaps sorted, packaged and mailed back to everyone.
I end up at the PO twice because I find it easier. Once to find out the amount of postage needed and then to actually mail the packages out. I do this so I can put your extra stamps or monies in your envelopes.
Luckily my PO is at the end of my road and I have to go by it every time I come and go. LOL

thanks Barb

Thanks for your understanding Jean - here are a couple of pix to show you all what I am up against in the sorting... 36 piles all laid out on my bed !! OhMyGod Razz The last pic is of my 4 designs// Some of you may get a couple of duplicates since we only had 36 tag designs instead of 40, but I will try to make sure they are from another swapper.

Will git'er'dun though !! ThumpUp

Okay - All are packed and at the post office today ! Here are the tracking #s

Beverly - no tracking # as you sent a prepaid Flat Rate envy...you probably have something on your end.

I don't think we can "track" with these numbers because it is 1st class mail.

My PO says only Priority mail can be tracked.

1st class tracking numbers are for their benefit only. Good if something gets lostBlushing

Hi Jean !
Seems as though Postal Employees are not well trained... I track these pkgs. all the time...I ship on Ebay and Etsy and always check on my pkgs...which are mostly First Class mail.

I have clerks tell me stuff all the time that isnt accurate. Plus, they dont seem to know anything about how USPS.com works.

Try putting your # in the USPS web site tomorrow and see if you get a result...

Thanks !

When I mail 1st class I have to say "First class with tracking" and pay the extra for a tracking number. Priority has it automatically.

When you buy your postage online the tracking is included free of charge....one of the perks of doing it yourself. Set up with Paypal and do your own postage...print on your own printer and you just drop it in the mail !

I do mostly priority online but have been known to do other mailings also. Because the PO is so close to home, I sometimes check what they say the postage is going to be and then print from home!!!!
