Sadly it is. In my mind, it was one of their genius products that worked so well.

You can find used ones on ebay and sometimes Amazon. Provo Craft does have a repair service, so if it breaks, you can most likely get it fixed.

Is there any hint that something will be coming out to replace it or as an upgrade? Can't take the Craft Room to a crop and I'd be lost without my Gypsy. Friends want to buy one, but they cost an arm and a leg on e-bay right now - and that's often for a used one.

Gypsy woes!!!!!I called about my gyspy because it dosen't want to switch between layers . So we did a format and restore on it ,but it didn't work, sent it in to have the screen repaired , that didn't work!!!! And while it was gone they sent me an email to try another trouble shooting . So when i got it back it still want switch between layers correctly. So now i have tried the trouble shooting and still nothing . And I'm really disappointed that i can use my gypsy anymore!!! I wish they would come out with a new one or at the least have ccr where it can be on out ipads tablets ect, and be able to cut from it Would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and if you got it fixed?

United States

Why in the world would they do away with the Gypsy?!? That would be the stupidest business decision they could ever make. While it has it's issues, the concept is smart and if they focused on making it better, I think it would do wonders for their company.
