Hi Everyone !
It just so happens that I have 3 old clocks that need to be RESCUED instead of being tossed out !
What better way to do this than a Swap ?? BigGrin
So here is a new challenge for those who are brave enough to try it !
RULES:

1. Obtain an old clock or a new one - Use any technique that you enjoy to alter it for your partner. You will need to ask her if she prefers a wall clock, or a desk clock and other pertinent questions, such as COLORS, THEME, DESIGNS, What type of room will it be used in . Most of us have a certain color scheme in our homes and offices, so you want her to be able to actually USE the clock. I HAVE AMENDED THE RULES TO INCLUDE A TIM HOLTZ ALTERED ALARM CLOCK IF YOUR PARTNER IS IN AGREEMENT TO HAVE A NON-FUNCTIONAL CLOCK DECOR ITEM. You can always insert a small pocketwatch in it to make it functional ! Love
2. The clock should be functional and have batteries in it if it take batteries. Please do not send your partner a non-functional clock unless she requests it for some reason.
3. Somewhere on the clock there has to be AT LEAST ONE CRICUT CUT ! You should also try to use a variety of embellishments to make it a special and unique piece.
4. Remember to pack carefully and send to your partner so that the delivery people wont destroy it and POST A TRACKING NUMBER on this thread when you mail it. Without a tracking # I will have to assume that you are a Flaker Sad if your partner does not receive her clock.
5. Mailing Deadline is September 25th but you can mail earlier if you like. It is best to mail at the same time your partner is going to mail, so check with each other.
6. After receiving your clock you are required to post pictures of it on here for everyone to enjoy .

I will post some pictures soon of examples of clocks that were altered. Tim Holtz Altered clocks would be great !!

IF You have not been in any of my swaps in the past year, please PM me with your contact info - name, addy, email, and phone #.

No Flakers please !! If you are currently on the Flaker list you will be rejected until you make everything right with your past swaps.

I will close the membership signups on July 30th ....thanks !

Who would like to join me ??

I have had a suggestion that I add the TIM HOLTZ CLOCK to this swap... It is a non-functional clock he has just put onto the market. I have personally not seen one except on his web site.
But if anyone out there is really wanting to make one of the TH ALtered Alarm clocks and it is okay with your partner, then I will go along. You could always insert a small clock or a watch into it ! Love

Sure would LOVE some more members here !!

Hi Jeanene ! Welcome to the swap... just PM me with your contact info soon. I have seen the TH clock on his web site, but there is no sign of them anywhere in my area stores yet - so that is why I did not originally include them in this. If your partner is okay with having the TH clock then it is fine by me BigGrin

Okay ladies !! We are now officially "on the clock" !! BigGrin PUN INTENDED !!

Jeanene - thanks for the info .... unfortunately I have never seen a Beverly's craft store.
I am surprised that Michael's and Joanns and Hobby Lobby do not have the TH clocks.
at least not around here....

Beetlebugmart - Hannah !! You are my partner and I am anxious to know if you would like a wall clock or a desk clock and what kind of theme you would enjoy having - Let me know ASAP...
I don't care if it is a wall or desk clock and would like something that I could hang in my Paris Coffee shop themed kitchen, or place on a desk that has a Parisian theme to it.

Donna - thanks for letting us know you will be gone for a few days. I am sure that Jeanene will understand.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone creates ! Love Be back soon !! Barb

Hi Ladies,
I've not joined your swap, but I did see a cute clock in a blog hop this weekend, so I'm posting a link for you to see it. I love getting ideas from all sorts of places and you never know what might ignite your spark. It is not my creation, but a lovely cricut sister I admire made it. Excuse the intrusion in your thread.

Barb?! I can't be your partner! You're so creative and crafty and mine just does not measure up!! I am very easy to please. My house and craft room have no themes b/c we are living in an apartment temporarily while we look for a house. I will love anything you make and I have never been in a swap before so I would love for you to "experiment" with any ideas you have. You have "open creativity". I'm very excited to get started. Already have some ideas for you.

Big waves to my partner Hannah !! Don't worry about me...I am not hard to please as long as you don't make me anything in BLUE !! Seriously, I do not like that color much at all ..
Is that sweet little girl in your picture your little angel ? Would you like something for her room maybe ? Or something for the holidays ? I love working on every kind of theme there is...except I am not too good at Grunge Flapper

I have 3 very good functional clocks to work with that need over-hauling, so I can start anytime !

Happy crafting everyone !

Jeanene, Hi I'm back from my trip! I would like a functioning clock and the colors I would like are olive green, red, blue, chocolate brown. Any of those colors or a combination of those colors. I would also like it to be a table clock rather than a wall clock. I like Victorian or vintage.Love Wub Tongue Tongue Wink

Hi Everyone! I have to find a clock for you, Barb. I went to the Goodwill the other day but they didn't have anything. I have ideas for it but have to order some things. Do you like pink? Yes, that is my angel, Anna. She turned 4 on Monday. I cried some. You can make it for her room. I do not care if it is functioning or not or wall or sitting. Light colors. Blue, green, yellow, pink, purple. Any of those but pastel, spring colors. Like I said we are in an apt. right now so she is bunking with Daddy and me. She had Pooh before but too old for that now and I don't think I'm going with a theme later. Just a pretty little girl's room with pretty colors. Or you can make her one for her playroom with all the bright colors and she loves animals. She would be delighted to get something. She loves mail and of course, presents. She's my sweet baby girl. Talk to all of you later.

Hi everyone !

HodMom - thanks for the Christmas clock idea... I think I will be inspired by that one and make one of mine similar since I have 3 clocks to transform !

Hannah - I love pink, but would rather WEAR it than Decorate with it...my home is very European antique with a lot of earth tones, browns, moss green, gold, tan...and a kitchen that looks very French Cafe' style...
I will enjoy making something for your little angel. She is so cute ! I think that she will like what I make for her. My grand-daughter is 9 now, but I have been making things for her since she was a baby..so I have a little practice with that. BigGrin

I would like a functional clock... please do not buy something expensive. I have found clocks at Walmart for $3.99 - and then you have no worries if it will operate or not. I also find that yard sales work better for me than Goodwill stores around here....I like for my swaps to be economical for people...so try to use what you have on hand.

Donna and Jeanene - Hope that you will enjoy this exchange as well. I cant wait to see what you will create !

Maybe we will get some more people interested for another round once they see all the neat stuff we are going to make ! I am already thinking about Christmas gifts !!

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend !

Hannah - I found some really cute papers in my stash this morning...pastel colors with cute little pink elephants and blue rhinos and lime green gators - plus some ideas for cricut cuts and embellishments....so I am mulling over a design today ! This should be fun to create !

Hi Donna,
I love this clock! With a place to put my own picture...in the Tim Holtz style does not have to be his particular clock!
