I am wanting to cut initials out on vinyl using my old, old Cricut. Can someone walk me through the steps? I'm not sure about changing the depth of the blade (or if I even have to). I watched a youtube video, and I think I know how to transfer the vinyl initials. I am also concerned about the vinyl peeling. This is going on a plastic shower caddy for a friend going to college, so it will get wet. Is there something that I should use to protect the letters? Thanks a bunch!

Haven't used my little Cricut in a very long time, but pretty sure you can set the pressure and the blade, they should be at 3 for Med, for most vinyl, also the speed should be on Med or 3. I have vinyl on my bathroom wall its been there for over a year and it hasnt peeled, not been wet with water but with steam id think it would have started to peel but it hasnt. If you put it on there good and tight it should last, you are going to use the permanent vinyl correct?

Thanks for the info! I guess it's permanent vinyl. It's made by ProvoCraft; it included 2 sheets of vinyl.
