While I'm excited about linking the Gypsy to the Craft Room, I am able to Sync. When I try to Uplink, it connects to the Gypsy then shortly thereafter I get the error. HELP!!!!

I got the same weird error message, but I am letting it keep going since it is the weekend and I don't think customer service is open today.

ETA- I just let it keep going, and despite the error message it finished up. All carts are on Gypsy and CCR, and they both are cutting with my CricutBigGrin

I keep getting that too. I live in Australia and I can't find where to get help here.
So frustrating, I want to start using it.
If anyone has a solution please help.

Yodlo : Quick question, how long did you let it go on for? I have the same error, let it go on for about an hour but still no progress. I do have about 40 cartridges linked to my Gypsy.

Anyone else who can help? I live in Singapore, so unless I decide not to sleep through the night, I won't be able to call PC at the times that they are open.

Thanks Scraplette.
I've tried emailing them, but no response so far. Was hoping someone on the forum might have a solution that I can try given that I've been up since 6am this morning trying to solve this problem.

(Am bringing the Expression to my children's nursery this afternoon for some scrapping fun, and was hoping to link my Gypsy so that I can just use the school's computer and CCR).

SUCCESS, finally! I feel everyone's pain over the CCR and Gypsy sync. Yesterday, was full of updating and sync issues with my Gypsy and then came the sync between CCR and Gypsy. I am running MAC 10.9.2. I was getting the endless spinning green circle (an hour or more and several attempts) Also, GYPSY only showing "CONNECTED" to CCR for about 5 or 10 seconds.

Today, I uninstalled CCR. Then I ran CRICUT SYNC, surprisingly there were 21 updates which did install (I did get a 2nd Attempt) but the install was successful.

I reinstalled the CCR dmg, and spent 2 hours fighting with the spinning circle and losing connection after 5 or 10 seconds. It was like it was not connected at all -- the CCR SYNC worked and the CCR cartridges were showing up on my GYPSY, but the "UPLINK" failed and my Cartridges were not showing up on my CCR account.

Here is what finally worked (and it was fast).

With the Gypsy on and plugged into the USB on my computer. I launched the CCR application. Under "Options" select "Link Gypsy". On the Gypsy, select "CRICUT" and then select "LINK CARTRIDGE".

Then, I selected the SYNC option on the CCR. When the SYNC said "DONE" then I selected UPLINK. Check the UPLINK and AGREE to the the TERMS & CONDITIONS.

And shockingly, it said "DONE" in 10-15 seconds. Note: I do not have many cartridges so time may vary, but my cartridges are now showing up on CCR. I am soooo excited.

The next hurdle will be getting CCR to work with my CRICUT Expression, but one battle at a time. Hope this helps someone.

Thank goodness! I'm going to try this when I get home. I've been linking my gypsy to the CCR since last night and that spinning ball drove me crazy this morning.

So you're saying I should uninstall the CCR from my Mac and reinstall then try linking again?
