Does anyone know of a good antivirus/firewall program that is compatible with Cricut Craftroom? I can't get my computer and my Cricut Expressions to communicate with each other and cut my designs unless I uninstall my antivirus program. I'm using Windows 8 64 bit on an HP 2000 laptop. Please Help!

I use AVG and so far, fingers crossed, I have had no issues.

I use Avast on my Windows 7 64 bit machine. I had to search and search for any CCR files and allow them in Avast to get it to work. I will attach a screenshot of what I have allowed in Settings>Global Exclusions. One of them is on my 'G' drive, but, yours should be on 'C'. I'm sure that it was not necessary to allow at least one of them, but, it's working. Be sure that the site is marked as safe in whatever browser you use also. Don't know if it makes a difference, but, it cannot hurt.

You should not need additional firewall software. Windows built in firewall has been great since Windows Vista.
