I have been at it for HOURS! My best friend gave me a new mini today, and I was soooo excited. But now I'm sooo frustrated! I've followed all the set up instructions, but now it won't turn off and the firmware won't update. I think of myself as pretty computer savvy... however this is making me CRAZY! why in the world is it not working? Maybe it's defective since it won't turn off or load paper? The green lights just stay on.... I am going to MAKE myself go to bed now, however I'm sure I'll see all of these error codes in my nightmares!! Please please help a sister out! I wanna make some stuff!!!

I don't have a mini, so not sure how to help you, but I do have a suggestion: call PC customer service. 1-877-7CRICUT. They are on mountain time. HTH. GG

Oddly enough, it seems the most computer savvy people have the most problems getting their Cricuts set up. But, do as Godot's Girl suggested and call PC. The CS reps will definitely help you get it working or honor the warranty.

Good luck!
