I replaced the blade and since then, my cricut doesn't cut very well. Does the blade need to face a certain way? I've tried turning it and it just seems to be a jumbled mess. I've very frustrated because it just doesn't seem to work as it did when it was new.

Make sure you've inserted the blade assembly back into the cricut correctly.

The middle of the housing should sit inside the clamp. The arrow that's below the numbers should face the front. Then make sure you have tightened the screw securely.

Oh, and make sure you inserted the correct end of the blade into the house. The pointy end gets inserted into the house. The blade end that had the rubber cap on it should just poke out of the assembly.
