Good morning!!

I am checking in and have just answered question #14 (on page 2 my original post). Had a nice weekend and did a bit a crafting. Had a family dinner last for my birthday. Next Monday is our Thanksgiving so I will be cooking a turkey for that.

I am enjoying this Swap so much!!!BigGrin I have been on the computer more looking at new techniques and trying them out. Some with great results, some with not so great results!Blushing

Have a great week!

Sharon, so sorry to hear about your mother and the fact that you had to be a b*&%h to people to get help. So many people just don't want to get involved, or they could care less. Here's to hoping that she has a speedy recovery and praying for a successful surgery.

Gwen, I've answered the newest question.

Sorry, but this swap is closed to sign-ups. You'll have to watch for new swaps that open up, probably not until after the holidays.

Lori checked in thru email this morning too.

So that is all good now.

Just need CarolKlink to check in and answer questions.

Just reminding everyone to please mark on your calendars or set a reminder on your cell phone, etc. to remember to check in on a regular basis.

And if you are going to be away from computer, then just send me a quick PM so I know not to expect you online for that week, etc.

Just makes life easier on the hostess! Thanks!

Checking in!!!

I am loving this cooler weather, Just makes me happy!!!Love

I am working on several items at once, that's just how I work, don't want to do anything without inspiration, but things are looking good. Still have to go shopping for some goodies for my SS, but everything is coming along nicely.

Hope everyone is finding time to enjoy their crafting, are we doing sneak peaks?? or are we keeping this on the very down lowBigGrin

I'm going now to find my question post and answer #14.

Mom's home BigGrin She's a bit ouchy but feels pretty good. I have a few things to take care of today/tonight but hopefully we'll glide back into normal tomorrow. I went back to Js yesterday while she was in surgery and spoke to the manager. I praised her associates for their professionalism and helpfulness, and told her I emailed corporate so they'd know what a asset that store was to the company. (Wasn't just saying that, I actually did!) I picked up some paper to use on SS's items, a couple things for Mom and the red cardstock I needed so I was happy.

I haven't answered question 14 yet because all I ever really buy is supplies but I'll poke around the internet in the next couple of days to see what I might drool over. Smile

Hello All,

So excited about being an "angel" for this swap. Had to replace our modem this week so am slow in answering the questions. My Master Questionnaire answers can be found on page 16, post #470.

[size=9][/ Questions:

1. Your Christmas decorating style and colors used in your home: Traditional and whimsical

2. Please list some inexpensive wishlist items for your SS to consider treating you with: 6" x 6" paper pads in happy colors, clear Easter stamps

3. Using the list of ideas in Post 1 for ideas, is there anything you would love to have made for your by your SS? Or, in the alternative, is there certain items you do not need more of? Mini album, tags, charger plate - No Stickles or Liquid Pearls

4. Your favorite food/snack holiday treat? [color= Rice Krispie Treats

5. Do you have a preference for notecards, thank you cards, or giftcard holders? Note or thank you cards

6. Do you do Layouts? 8x8 or different size? I don't do layouts, cards instead

7. Snowman lover? Or something else you would prefer for a wintry, but not Christmas-y theme? Vintage angels

8. List some of your favorite Christmas Carols. Joy to the World, Silver Bells, and I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus

9. Are you okay with receiving religious items? Yes

10. Are you okay with religious type of holiday verses on cards or other projects? Yes, (I am Protestant)

11. For Christmas themed crafts - do you prefer traditional, modern, or vintage style? Traditional, vintage and whimsical

12. If your partner were to make you a Mini Album or Altered Frame, tray, etc - would you prefer Christmas theme or other theme? Christmas

13. Your style of crafting preferred overall? Traditional, vintage and whimsical

14. Just in case your SS would like to treat you with one extra special gift, please list an item or two that you would love to have in your craftroom, that is more pricey then say a tube of glue. An acrylic stamp block 9" tall and 5" wide (this is an approximate size as I want to use it with Julie Nuttings "evening grown" stampo) or a Cricut green dust cover for my E2

15. Do you like/use Maggie stamps? If so, are there any newer ones you would like to have (drooling over)? Have never used.

Happy Saturday night. I have finished 4 of the directives so far. I am so loving this swap. Finished the TH Creative Chemistry class and used some techniques for the Deer/grunge directive. Hope my SS will like what I have done.

Last week was so nutsy for me that I only have watched the first 2 days. SO I have lots of catching up to do!
